“That ugly?” She raised an eyebrow, wondering whether or not he was referring to Hephaestus’ appearance or it was simply his disgust for his father in general. Either way she could understand it. She’d heard that the Olympian was beyond ugly, and also well obviously anyone who stooped so low as to rape was pathetic. It was a bit weird that this kid was Hephaestus’ kid. He was neither ugly-she could almost admittedly say attractive-, nor that pathetic. A bandage? Not a terrible idea, but her shoulder would probably need gauze rather than just a small band-aid. “Or you could just tell me where they are and I could get it myself.” Andy suggested, not the type to really want help from anyone else. Even if it was only the simplest action of help. “You may not have been staring like the ‘stalker type’, but you were still staring creepily.” She informed him, observing one of the fancily crafted swords hanging up on the wall. “I find that unlikely. Anybody who lives here is messed up in some way.” Which she thought was true for the most part. The perfect example was herself. And well there were many others in Camp that had a twisted past as well as personality. “You could be, you seem like the type.” She glared at the small toy whizzing around in a circle about her head.
Andy couldn’t help but to have a negative attitude. When nothing really positive happened for you, then you didn’t tend to be a positive person. Environment and family supposedly influenced people’s personalities, and in her case that was 100 percent true. Her environment was completely and utterly negative when she was growing up. Well the neighborhood was actually a very nice place, and the house was big and fancy, at least for a while. But the point was, she had been raised under abuse which her one session therapist had insisted was a negative environment. Which made sense and all, but she didn’t need a therapist to point that out for her. Then also well family. That was obviously a bad influence on her personality as well. “I’m mean. It is what is. I already told you not to take it personally.” She shrugged, aware by now that she was greatly irritating Darius. His facial expression, and not to mention his tone told her that. Not that that small fact bothered her. By now, it was practically her given hobby to tick people off. And man, was she good at it. Glancing back up from her flowers, she eyed the other demi-god. “Are you bi-polar?” The redhead asked him curiously. It was a valid question too since he seemed to just switch right from one mood to the other. One minute he was annoyed with her or pissed off at his dad, and the next minute he was all calm and collect again. It was a bit annoying to her. “Everything..but roses.” Andy smirked, her bright green eyes turning back to the small flowers still in her hand. “Yes, really. Maybe I’m making you sound like a pansy, because I think you are one. Good luck with that.” She rolled her eyes in regards to his idea of coming up with a ‘repulsive’ nickname.
“Or a person could just do that out of spontaneity.” The girl pointed out, finding that a better idea. “I’ve had two actually,” She paused for a moment before adding on, “But I don’t think the first one counts since that was in the third grade.” She commented, figuring this would come as a surprise to him. Andy could understand why too. “An Ice Princess with no feelings? Well if I did have any, you would have just hurt them right there, Dare-Bear.” She replied sarcastically covering her heart with her hands. “There you go again, hurting my possibly nonexistent feelings.” The redhead rolled her eyes. Her eyes followed him lazily as he crossed the room, searching for a couple of tools. “No, I just find making fun of you, very entertaining. And you may find it surprising, but I lack in the ego department. And well if it bothers your self esteem, then that’s a little pathetic.” She mumbled, allowing her legs to dangle off the edge of the table. These tables obviously weren’t built to accommodate a person’s full height. “Or..Neither of us could look like a dumb ass. And I could just laugh at you anyways because of your pansy-like status.” That pretty much sounded like what was going to happen anyways. She didn’t really care if he decided to laugh at her as well, because honestly that wouldn’t bother her at all.

Darius chuckled and shook his head, [brown]Oh yeah, he has boil-like things all over his face, looks like hives really, but it is pretty gross.[/brown] he said to the redhead. He walked over to one of the walls and opened up a shelf that held all the medical supplies and spun to look at her, [brown]Oh, uh, yeah it’s right here. There’s everything you need, from stitches to just little band aids. Help yourself.[/brown] he said waving his hand and walking back to her. Darius was used to helping people, he had to get used to the fact that this girl was the really independent type, he liked that about her. [brown]Well I don’t mean to be stare ‘creepily’, jeez.[/brown] he said rolling his eyes and then looked the other way. The demi-god doesn’t mean to stare at the girl, he couldn’t help that she was pretty, it was in his nature to stare at beautiful girls. Smiling to himself he nodded, [brown]I can’t blame ya there. They need a therapy session or something when someone new comes here cause it’s such a shock, sorry now I sound crazy too.[/brown] rubbing his head as he said the last sentence. Darius thought he sounded totally deluisional, and just another reason for her to make fun of him. Looking up he eyed her, [brown]Oh yeah right, like I really seem the type, you need to get your shit straight.[/brown] he said irritated. He couldn’t believe that she just said that, he would never associate with anyone like that, he was the one who was the son of one. But he didn’t need to keep in touch with Hephaestus.
[brown]Yeah I don’t mean to take it personally but it’s still annoying how you hate everyone. Do you have at least any friends? Or do you hang out with the emo type people that hate life and everything.[/brown] he said crossing his arms and looking at her. Darius laughed when she asked if he was bi-polar, [brown]If I said yes, would that make I make it on the top of your list to insult me some more?[/brown] he said sarcastically to her. He didn’t say yes but didn’t say no either, the fact was she was making him that way, she was just so negative. Darius wanted to be nice to her but there was only so much he could take, but he could stand her at the same time, it was weird in a way. Sitting to where he was he looked at the flowers before him and tilted his head to the side, [brown]Why not roses? Oh yeah I forgot, you think they are overrated, nice.[/brown] shaking his head and rolling his eyes. After that comment Andy made about him being a pansy, he didn’t know how to respond to that or even make her shut up, she was good at whatever she was doing to him, it was like ripping him down to nothing. Maybe she liked to do that to other people because of her past. Slouching just a little he stared down at the table not responding to what she said.
[brown]Now I could agree with you there.[/brown] he said pointing at her and then crossing his arms. A guy could do it out of the blue and make it ten times more romantic, but he wasn’t that romantic to do that, just do the generic. Take the girl out, get roses and a little piece of jewelry. Smirking to her answer he rubbed his arm, [brown]Yeah the first one don’t count. So you only had one? I thought you’d have more…[/brown] he said to her. Darius wasn’t lying either, he thought since a pretty girl like her would bring in more suitors, but again, he was wrong. This girl was and enigma to him, he couldn’t figure her out at all, and he liked that. He laughed when she stuck her hands to her heart, [brown]Yeah but it didn’t so it don’t count as hurting your feelings. Oh and I’m so sorry to hurt those feelings.[/brown] he said sarcastically and looked down at his creation. He noted that it was taking on a lavender color and a vase shape, shaking his head he kept working. He didn’t want to make a vase but his hands were doing all the work. [brown]Oh you have no ego? I wouldn’t have expected that.[/brown] rolling his eyes, [brown]No you don’t bother my self-esteem. I’m not that much of a girl.[/brown] he said shrugging and keeping his eyes on his work and not fixed onto her bright green eyes. Sighing deeply he shook his head, [brown]Then laugh away, you don’t bother me, now I’m used to you laughing at me.[/brown] he said smirking up to her and then back down at the vase. It was taking a beautiful shade and shape; he was starting to be really proud of it. Darius was just getting a little nervous because he knew that the moment he was done with it, she would make fun of it and not want it. But who knew, maybe the Ice Princess had taste after all.

Andy wrinkled her nose in disgust, a little put off even by Darius' description of his father. "That just sounds seriously nasty. Well lucky for you, you didn't get his looks." Though the boils and such was to be expected since Hephaestus was supposed to be the only actually ugly god. It was odd how the only child of Zeus and Hera turned out to be the only ugly immortal. Sliding off the side of the work table, she walked over towards the cupboard, side-stepping around Darius as she went. She sifted through the shelf of items, taking only a tube of something similar to Neosporin, a strip of medical tape, and also a roll of white gauze. Her fingers twisted the cap of the medicine to the left, easily removing it. She quickly dabbed at the blood with the gauze before applying a smooth coating of the medicine so the cut wouldn't get infected. It probably would have looked neater if she had completely wiped away all the blood, but she would fix that later. Pulling at the gauze, she gently, but firmly wrapped it around her shoulder until she decided the wrap was thick enough, then secured it with a strip of medical tape. The demi-god knew her way around medical items by now. She even knew how to stitch a cut up if necessary. A lot of people in this camp did. It was almost common knowledge, or a least she thought so. "Trust me, therapy wouldn't help." The redhead nodded, sidestepping back around his chair as she returned to her seat on the work table. "If anything, it'd just annoy everyone even more," Andy insisted, brushing off some of the dirt that was now clinging to her shirt. Her eyebrows raised in near-surprise at his raise in tone of voice. He almost had these sorts of mood swings, she would say. "Sounds like somebody's angry."
The girl already knew her negativity was annoying. Or at least she knew it was annoying to people such as himself. In other words, it was irritating to nice, supposedly happy people. "Let me think...No. Well..No" She paused before deciding to leave out the fact that little kids absolutely loved her. That was probably because Andy was actually nice to them, and somehow she was just a person who happened to be real good with kids. "Definately not emo people. They complain too much." The demi-god reasoned, recalling some of her interactions with 'emo' people back at her old high school. Her shoulders rose and fell in the simple motion of a shrug. "Hmm, maybe." She decided as she shifted back into her previous position of laying down. It was obviously likely considering she had made fun of him for practically everything else already. "It seems you're finally starting to catch on," The daughter of Persephone smirked as he answered his own question. She even had another example of the overusage of roses. Her middle name happened to be Rose, which she wasn't very pleased with. Her mother couldn't have picked a different middle name? She understood the flower aspect of it, but Persephone could have picked any number of flowers besides a rose. The slump of the boy's shoulders and his lack of response was noticeable to Andy. There was a split second where she looked as though she almost felt bad, but if it was really there, it disappeared pretty quick. "Don't tell me that actually bothered you?" She eyed Darius in a questioning manner. Andy didn't really see how that could offend him unless of course he really was a pansy. She didn't think words from a stranger should really hurt his feelings.
"Oh wait, and there was this little five year old who asked me to be his girlfriend when I was 16." She added, nodding her head as she recalled it. "That doesn't count either though. But let me tell you, he was by far the best boyfriend any girl could have. He even got me daisies for my birthday." Her lips twitched up a little bit, so close to making a real smile. The little boy had been her neighbor, and he was absoloutly adorable! "Funny," Andy replied sarcastically in response to his comment. Most people found it surprising that she'd even had one boyfriend, considering her personality. "Yeah I'm sure you are." The girl brushed a lock of her hair off to the side, fully aware of his sarcastic tone. She found that sarcasm didn't suit him that well. "Yeah you wouldn't think, but being abused as a kid, kind of leads to a lack in one's narcissism." The redhead rolled her eyes as well, twisting the stems of the tulips together. "Ehh..." Andy trailed off in response to Darius' 'I'm-not-that-much-of-a-girl'. "Don't get too used to it, I figure we'll probably never talk to each other again after this fun little encounter." She mumbled, peering over at whatever it was that he was making now. It wasn't that she thought that she'd never see him around camp again, but more that she doubted either would strike up a conversation with the other. Andy, because well she normally tended to avoid any conversation. Darius, because he probably wouldn't want to talk to someone as mean as her, again. She couldn't even figure out why he was putting up with her now.
