Celebrity Claim:Chris Pine
Looks::D.J. has blue eyes and has slightly faded brown hair. He has bushy eyebrows and usually keeps his face shaven with a little stubble. He has thin lips and a face shaped somewhat like an upside down pentagon, with a somewhat pronounced chin. He usually wears a t-shirt with torn sleeves with a longer sleeved shirt underneath. When he smiles, it reaches his eyes and is very warm. Despite his harsh appearance, and being a son of Ares, D.J. can have a very kind nature and a warm heart.
Personality:: D.J. is not one at first meeting you would expect to be a son of Ares. He’s extremely kind and very polite. He acts like a big brother to many of the newer and younger kids at camp. He’s not one to go pull pranks on others. He works hard and does his chores without being told twice. When it comes to school work he does his best to focus on studies and not cause any trouble that will get him kicked out of school or blow things up, though being a Demi-God has its hardships and he has never stayed in a certain school for more than two years running. When it comes to camp half-blood he works hard on his training and helping other campers as well. He can be shy around girls sometimes, though despite this he is very social. Even six years after the incident where he lost his fiancé, D.J. still isn’t sure whether he is ready to love again.
On the other hand, D. J. can be easily offended and has a hot temper that takes a long time to calm down, a trait gained from his father’s side of the family. He’s extremely athletic and is very skillful at hand to hand combat, preferring a long sword to any other type of weapon. He’s not the best at long range weapons, such as bows and slingshots. His long range aiming isn’t all that great. When he does get angry D.J. rushes into things, not thinking things all the way through and thinking of a plan, another trait he gained from his father. One of his biggest flaws is his ability to hold a grudge, especially with Zeus and his family (see History). D.J. also loves chariot racing, though canoeing is something he hasn’t done before because he doesn’t like the idea of being out in the middle of the water with no ground to support him. He doesn’t, however, have that big of a fear of flying or of heights.
Family::
Father—Ares (immortal)
Mother—Cassandra Olivia Sorrenson (deceased)
Step-Sister—Francine Jensen Iingrid-Sorrenson (15)
Fiance—Ashlyn Ada McKinsey (deceased)
History:: Daniel James Asher Sorrenson was born to Cassandra Olivia Sorrenson at the age of 25 in Long Island, New York. Cassandra knew from halfway through the pregnancy who Ares was, and made sure that Daniel knew of his lineage to prepare for the monsters and other evil that would be inevitably heading his way when he grew older. As soon as he learned how to walk and talk, Cassandra had him taking karate lessons after school to make sure he could protect himself even at a very young age. It was something he excelled at and quickly became a strong and agile child even before he was sent off to school.
He wasn’t officially claimed by his father until he was seven, which at that point his mom got a new job all the way in Alaska. At this point, D.J. was given a choice—become a full year-round camper at Camp Half-Blood or go with his mother. Being a small child, and not understanding the full of the situation, he went with his mother to Alaska. There were few to no run ins with monsters while they lived there. When D.J. turned thirteen, his mother adopted a three year-old orphan girl named Francine. They made sure she knew that she was adopted, refraining from the drama it would have caused if they didn’t tell her. She remained in the dark of D.J.’s true heritage however.
D.J. was home schooled by his mother, as her new job was easily managed at home, leaving her enough time to take care of her two children. When D.J. became of the age to go to high school, their family moved away from Alaska; his mother thought it was time to go to a real school. So they moved to Seattle, Washington. He went to a public school there for a full year and a half before any incident happened, which involved a Cyclopes and a chemistry lab. They moved away from Seattle and into a smaller town. Another incident happened, followed by another. This continued until his senior year of high school. For some reason, all of the monster attacks seemed to stop, and that was just fine with D.J.
During his senior year they moved back to Seattle, to a different public school system. There he met Ashlyn. The two started dating, halfway through senior year and on after. This continued on for a little over two more years. D.J. finally proposed to Ashlyn and the two were engaged. His happiness was short lived though. One night during a violent thunderstorm, he was babysitting his step-sister at home while his mom and Ashlyn were out looking at dresses. Their car was struck by lightning; the blast caused a pileup, in which his mother died instantly and his fiancé died on the way to the hospital in the ambulance.
D.J. blamed Zeus, the God of the Sky and Lightning on the accident. Unable to support both himself and his sister, in addition to exposing her to the cruel life of a Demi-God, Francine was sent back to Alaska to live with one of his mother’s good friends who had a couple of daughters her age. D.J. went strait to New York where he remembered his mom said there was a camp for those like him. Camp Half-Blood quickly became his home, and though he was the new kid, his ‘popularity’ status didn’t remain that high for long, as the son of Poseidon quickly joined the camp a few weeks after himself.
Life as a Demi-God became quite interesting for D.J. after that. He participated in the training, though he refused to go out onto a canoe. He kept an eye on the younger campers, helping them out since he was somewhat experienced with hand-to-hand combat in his prior years, even if he was a bit rusty. When it came to the war with the Titans, D.J. wanted to fight alongside Percy, but his allegiance was with Clarisse and the Ares Cabin. He was one of the wounded at the Empire State Building and did not participate in the final stand.
Life went back to normal after the fall of Kronos. D.J. trained, and watched out for the younger campers. Not once in his six years at camp did he go seeking for a relationship—his heart still hurt from his first and only girlfriend. He still holds a grudge against Zeus and his children, staying as far away from his cabin and children as possible. He never was given a quest, and continues training relentlessly for the world outside and the hardships it is sure to place upon their kind.

Name/Nickname::DemiGodGirl936
Roleplaying Experience::A good few years.
Sample RP:: D.J. looked out over the field from where he stood at the pine tree. According to the satyr that brought him here, the tree had once been a daughter of Zeus. His lips had barely curved upward at the mention of this but he said nothing. He definitely knew better than to offend the Gods, especially the head hancho. But serves Zeus right, having his daughter turned into a tree. Must have been agonizing for him. After the incident the was no way D.J. would forgive Zeus, and that suited him just fine. He could go on for the rest of his demi-god life without forgiving that Olympian jerk for taking away his mother and love of his life.
“Welcome to Camp-Half Blood.”
D.J. hadn’t noticed there was a great big centaur standing not five feet from him. He recognized him from descriptions given to him by the Satyr, and immediately D.J. Attempted to calm himself enough to give Chiron all the respect and politeness he deserved. He held out his hand and gave the centaur a strained smile, still upset for thinking about the thunderstorm that had led to him coming here in the first place. “Daniel Sorrenson,” D.J introduced himself to the great instructor. “Everyone calls me D.J. though.”
