Celebrity Claim:Michelle Trachtenberg
Looks:: Sam has striking blue eyes, pale skin and has bronzish hair that is usually let down in a messy sort of style. She stands about 5'6" and is slender though far from fragile. She usually wears torn jeans and grungy t-shirts, not bothering with the glamory-girly stuff.
Personality:: Sam is an independent woman who quarrels with anyone who gets in her way, to say the least. She's very skilled in archery though her favorite weapon of choice is a crossbow-it has a more modern feel to it. She's very short tempered and usually uses her powers to create mischief or set pranks on others. Not stupid college pranks like mortals, but ones that hurt or could cause friendships to break. Sam believes that there is no one better someone can trust than themselves, and is very intelligent though some would say she is not wise.
Though she had never been claimed by the Goddess herself, Samantha knows of Demi-Gods and knows she is one of their kind. This both makes her feel more powerful and at the same time is a blow to her pride. She feels her mother abandoned her, like most of them, but wants nothing to do with Mount Olympus. Instead, she fights monsters on her own terms, and uses chaos to operate when she can, even if she knows she can't get away with it.
Family:: Mother-Eris
Father- Samuel Smith
History::Samantha Kaylin Smith was left on her father’s doorstep in London, Enland to be taken care of. She was brought up under less than pleasant circumstances. But since he was a well-respected English gentleman, he had to take care of her growing up. That was, until he could send her away, far away—United States away. He sent her off to a boarding school from middle school through high school. He even paid to make sure the schools would keep her over the summer.
This proved to be somewhat difficult as Samantha either got into trouble, or trouble simply found her. She knew she wasn’t ordinary, as whenever she got insanely angry or emotional, it would cause something to break or become destroyed around her. At one point she was having an argument with her boyfriend at the corner of an intersection and after shouting severely at him when her anger peaked, a huge car crash occurred right on the intersection. They could have been as big as those or as small as causing a vase to spontaneously combust.
It didn’t help either that there were strange people following her around occasionally. Monsters from mythological legends—Greek legends. It was her only lead to what was going on around her. So one day during break she walked to the city Library in Chicago and began her search. It took her most of the evening but she finally found the explanation she was looking for: Demigods. Everything was real. It had to be. Though it was highly unlikely that was the only explanation though it was beyond everything she had learned up until that point. She was the daughter of a Greek Goddess.
This didn’t improve her mood. In fact, it angered her more than anything. She felt abandoned by her Goddess mother and mortal father. She blamed all Greek Gods for these happenings, and felt like an outcast even in her own race. Despite her research, she wasn’t sure exactly whose daughter she was, nor did she ever care to find out. Now Sam’s only mission in life was to just make other people’s lives as miserable or worse than hers had ever been. It was all she had now that made sense with what ‘powers’ she had.

Name/Nickname:: DemiGodGirl936
Roleplaying Experience:: A good few years
Sample RP:: The tall doors to the libraries loomed over her like a forbidden gateway. Forbidden knowledge, it almost reminded Sam of the forbidden apple in the famous Christian myth of Adam and Eve and the forbidden fruit. Only she wasn’t here for some stupid fairytale. She was here for answers. She wanted to know what was going on and she wasn’t going to leave this place until she found out, even if it closed. There had to be some explanation for what was going on in her life besides stupid coincidences. And she wasn’t going to leave until those answers were supplied for her.
“Pardon me, Miss,” Sam went up to the receptionist in her nicest voice possible. It still came out somewhat snarky. But if she didn’t ask politely she wouldn’t have gotten the help she needed. “Where would I find myths and legends?” If there was any sort of possible answer for everything that had been going on it wouldn’t be anything logical or even from a psychiatrist.
The woman pointed off upstairs to the far corner of the library. So much for help, at least she was doing enough of her job to point her in the right direction. She didn’t want to get kicked out of the library. That would have been an entire waste of her day, not to mention she would have gotten really mad and possibly caused a car accident outside. Without another word she headed off to do one of her least favorite subjects: research.
