Sophia was just walking around camp, letting the same poem run through her mind from the past week. That was fine with her as: One, it was something she came up with it alone -and that was a huge deal as she couldn’t write poetry at all and two, it happened to be a love poem. She had written it down and could recite it from memory. “Let me sing you a love song. About what I feel in my heart; Butterflies can't find nectar; Whenever we're apart. You're a flower in bloom. In the dark, in the gloom, It's you who brightens my day. How many ways do I need you? Every day, every way, come what may.” she sighed and looked around, finally realizing where she was. Sophie was at the property line. A place she rarely came to now days unless she was “called” for some reason inside of her.
She sat down and laid back in the grass in thought. Of course she could do that anywhere at camp but up here she felt like she could touch the clouds. This was another thing on her mind: she wonder what it was like to fly. Other things were of this: 1) What was it like to fly. 2) Why did this poem repeat over and over in her head alone? 3) How was Hayden in practice/ training? 4) When was Harper, Gavin and her going on the quest? 5) What would happen on the quest? 6) If something did happen, what if it happen to her? 7) What of her and Hayden then? 8) Why was she thinking negative thoughts of all times NOW of the quest? 9) Would she ever meet that mortal….Alexander again? They seemed like to be good friends right off. 10) Where was her father to give her advice when she needed it the most? These ten random thoughts flooded her mind along with several others; as she closed her eyes trying to clear her mind. Yeah…. Didn’t work at all.
Closing her eyes didn’t work at clearing her mind at all. She saw all the people she loved and cared about: Hayden, Harper, Adiona, Aria -even if Aria hated her- Jason, the rest of her family, the rest of friends, her father…. Sophie sat straight up and looked around. There had been a noise close to her. She reached beside her to where her bow was always kept to her side and waited until whoever or whatever would show themselves.

I've got to move on and be who I am I just don't belong here I hope you understand We might find our place in this world someday But at least for now I gotta go my own way ~Gotta Go My Own Way, High School Musical 2 The small shelter that Alex had made had been torn down and he had tried to scatter everything to make it look just like a regular spot. If Monsters were as powerful as he had been told, then they would still smell him, but hopefully not come after him again. Alex looked at his one backpack that he had kept with him thought thick and thin. Boy that thing had survived a lot. All he had in there was a change of clothes and a few bottles of water. Better to carry light than heavy was the moral of a few stories he had been though.
Today was the day that Alex was leaving here. He had seen what he wanted and his curiosity had been satisfied. True, he hadn't reached all his goals here. The first and foremost one was being able to memorize the forest. Even after a few weeks, Alex was still cautions moving in empty spaces around the mortal side of the line. He was still on the wary side and didn't want his head to find the boundary line for him again. The fact of the matter was that Alex had gotten the opportunity to meet some awesome demigods and he would leave it at that. He wasn't sure where he was going from here. Probably back to his mother's. His father's was out of the question since his father probably thought him dead... Alex shivered. Courtesy of his mother, no doubt. Would his father of even cared? Alex frowned slightly, he had seemed to have had lost it the last time that he had seen him.
Alex's hand went to his pocket almost automatically. The weapon was still there, good. He didn't intend to use it any time soon; he really disliked fighting. One last look at the border, he told himself. Then I'll leave. He didn't really expect any demigods to be out right now. True, the day was peaceful, but it was only once in a while that the brave few ventured out here. Alex didn't think he had even met an eighth of all the demigods. As he went to walk out, he tripped over one of his discarded branches and tumbled forward into the bush that had kept his little shelter concealed. Alex inhaled sharply. A sharp twig poked him straight in the shoulder where his old scar was. He crouched down and crawled backwards so he was in the middle of all the leaves and branches he had scattered.
Being careful not to trip over the same branch, Alex walked around the bush that he had just fallen into. As he walked he shook his head, trying to dislodge some of the small branches and leaves that had gotten stuck in. When he got around the corner, he froze and his eyes widened in amazement. No more than ten feet away from him and probably on her side, was a girl. It wasn't just any girl though. It was Sophie, the girl he had met in New York! Whoa.... she's a demigod?! was Alex's first thought. When he had met her, he had thought that she was a mortal like himself. When he saw that she was half going for her weapon he slowly raised his arms to shoulder height. "Fancy seeing you again," he said, smiling at her. OOC: Sry if that's a short post Lol, yes the song IS from HSM, sry if you take offense, but I personally think it fits... it may just be the way my head works when it comes to songs, idk XD Character Name: Alexander Ruckshack aka Alex Word From the Character: o.o You're a demigod?! Darius looked around the camp, everyone was practicing or having fun, he didn't want to engage on any games right now. He just wanted to walk, that was something he found soothing for some odd reason, he liked to think to himself about the day and what he would do tomorrow. Being in the armory all day long was exhausting for him and he wanted to get out and see some of the camp, even though he seen it about ten times. Darius walked by the strawberry feilds first, he seen the them and just wanted to take a few to much on, so he walked up to a saytr and asked if he could have some, but the goat said no. So on his way leaving, he bent down quickly and grabbed a handful before the saytr could see and chase him out, smirking to himself he kept walking while munching.
As he walked, he heard a voice, looking around he seen Sophie muttering to herself. He didn't want to bother her so he let her walk on. The demi-god has met her before, she was really nice, and she was easy to talk to. That's what he needed around here, was a good friend to talk to at times about anything, well not everything, she was a girl of course. He could see her as an ally in the near future. Darius walked a bit outways of her way and seen a shade tree, walking up to it, he put his hand on it and felt the rough bark against his big hands. The tree was old, he could tell and he liked trees, they were very usable at times.
Shaking his head to himself, he kept walking, he looked up at the sky and seen dark clouds in the horizon. They would probably pass without rainging which was a shame, he liked the rain so much, he wanted it to come soon. As he walked, his feet took him to the property line and heard two voices, he knew one was Sophie's but didn't know who the other was. As he silently walked closer, he seen it was another male, but he didn't look like no demi-god.

Sophie sat up in amazement. “Alex?” she asked shocked as well. Usually when Soph met someone mortal she would never ever see them again because that was just life or they would die. Alex was honestly the last one she would see around here. He just seemed somewhat of a city boy to her. She remembered when they had met. He was digging to find bottles in order to turn them in for money to maybe get something to eat. He seemed very kind and like her not to found of violence. As she stood up, she put her bow behind her and brushed herself off. “What are you doing here?” she asked curious. Did he know what she was? Was he a mortal that could see through the mist? He had to be but just so she knew for sure… “Can you… you know see though?” she wasn’t sure how to word it to make her sound not crazy.
“Yeah…fancy. What brings you all this way? Um looking for anything?” she asked curious and looking around. Really what was he doing here? And alone? That was dangerous, especially at this place and without any protection. Well she couldn’t really invite him over the line, could she? Not that she was a wear of. Soph felt and heard someone else approach and quickly turned to see Darius, Son of Hephaestus. She remembered meeting him and they had become pretty good fast friends.
“Hey Darius,” she replied. Darius and her first met on his second day of camp at the lake. He seemed very nice and surprisingly lonely. Then again she got along with just about anyone here at camp minus the children of Ares. She waved him over some and introduced the two of them. “Um Darius this is Alex….Alex, Darius.”

A smile passed over the mortal's face. "Can't believe you remembered my name," he teased. "Surprised to see you here, Sophie," he said, still staring at her from across the border. "I had no idea that you were... well," he nodded, hoping that she'd catch his drift. This was bizarre! It had never even occurred to Alex that Sophie could of been a half blood; then again, how could he of known from their small meeting in New York? Besides carrying around a bow (which by the time Alex left Kath's house, he didn't deem weird) she seemed totally normal. Mortal, like himself. Once she left, he thought he'd never see her again; it was just a random passing by. Perhaps not so random, now. He relaxed as she put her bow away and then shook his head, still trying to dislodge some leaves from his fall into the bush. "Sightseeing?" he offered meekly. He wondered if she would still buy his explanation of sightseeing after he answered her next question to him. The mortal smiled and nodded, deciding to tell her the truth. She seemed trust worthy enough, and she had been really kind to him. "Yes, I can see through the Mist thing if that's what your asking," he responded in a slight chuckle. "It doesn't sound weird if that was what you were thinking," he grinned, smiling at her.
He chuckled and shook his head in amusement. "Eh, nothing that specific. I got told about this place after I thought I was going insane. I guess just curiosity drove me to try and find this place." Alex trusted her, Sophie didn't seem the type to just turn him in and deem his as an insane stalker who had no business here at all. "The adventure to here has been quite fun," he chuckled. "I got to meet you," he said, smiling at her. "And I got to meet some immortals. It was sort of odd, since half of my mind is still saying this place and stuff still shouldn't exist." Then, from his Dark Fighting Alex froze and heard something, he tensed slightly. Then relaxed seeing that Sophie had heard it too and was greeting him.
"Hello," Alex said, giving the boy a kind smile. Wow, this had to be the first male he had met by the border! All the others he had met by the property line had been girls. He didn't mind at all, he wasn't biased or anything, but he had been sort of wondering if the Camp was being overrun with the female population. He gave a slight grin at the thought of it. Sophie had said his name was Darius, Alex nodded to him. The sixteen year old looked him over. Darius sort of looked like the loner type to him, for one, he hadn't approached the two, even though Alex felt like Darius had been there for as long has Sophie and he had been talking. Alex didn't mind though, it'd be nice to meet someone. "Hi, Darius, nice to meet you. I'd shake but... well," he prodded the border and his finger stopped in mid air as it came into contact with the invisible barrier that separated the two worlds.OOC: Eek!
