L.eighanne The weather was pretty calm. The sun have disappeared into the clouds. Leighanne have been waiting very patienly for the daylight to disappear so she was able to come down from the clouds to graze and drink. Carmel auds flicked to each sides showing she was on the alert to make sure it was safe. Too Leighanne no human no matter on the kindness they may seem can be trusted.
Slowly her large carmel feathery wings flapped up and down as she flew down from the clouds. Snorting and sniffing the air. It was safe which she was please about. Slowly she walked towards the creek and dipped her mug into the water. Slowly the liqurd went into her throat and it felt really good and wonderful again. Tossing her dial around, as she heard something rustling. Leighanne was easily to spook since it's her nature and hunter's around who would love to kill her without a second glance. Her scars were proof on what happened to her before with the past hero and she wasn't getting any younger either. Tossing her dial to the side, which sent her banner flying through the air.
Leighanne thought she saw something. A metal thing caughted her eye. Then suddenly something hit her left shoulder and she reared in pain. Squealing loudly which could be heard far away. Scared, in pain and injuered she galloped the fast she could. Seeing some bushes nearer by Leighanne headed for them, hiding and to her relief she saw the hunter disappearing.
Two hours later and the moon shinning fully now she limped onto her left leg, as the long stick thing was in her hide still. Leighanne tried several times to pull the stick thing out, but her ivories couldn't reached it. In the end she gave up and lied on her side with her wing resting over it. Slowly her strength was coming back so she can fly back to the clouds where she would be safe. On earth she is vunderable and now with an injury she is easy picking for someone to capture or even kill her.

Ellie was in the forest, thinking. So much had happened to her it was almost overwhelming. The thirteen year old still couldn't get her mind around that she was a demi-god. A child of one of the gods! Her! A normal teen, well, as normal as she had thought she was. Sometimes she just could stand being around camp, she was way to shy to meet any new people, and she mostly isolated herself. It helped that only one other demi-god was in her cabin. Percy. She hadn't talked to him much. Just when she was spoken to, she'd get red, stutter and be quiet. That was just her. Shy, quiet and non violent.
She started to walk through the forest, it was soothing to her. She loved being around nature, and even though it was night, she didn't really mind. As long as she wasn't enclosed or some where up high, she was fine. She retied her hair as she went through the bush and then stared. She was looking at a horse. With wings. Her mind went into slow motion. Okay, Ellie, calm down. Horse, wings, that makes it a.... "Pegasus..." Ellie breathed out.
Her mother had worked with horses and Ellie had taken horseback riding lessons and had learned about them from her mother. She knew what shy creatures horses were, however, she wasn't sure if pegisi were like horses but she was guessing yes. Weather it was shy or not, Ellie didn't want to take any chances, especially if it was the pegisi's territory and it got angry or something. She lowered her eyes down, not staring at it like a predator would. Her hands went palms up to show that she didn't have any weapons or anything and slowly started to back away as a sign of retreating.

L.eighanne Leighanne kept lying down where she was injured. She kept trying to get up but still she wasn't strong enough. Her breating was getting faster and more laboured as well. She was in so much pain she didn't know she would be able to put up with it anymore. The scarlet liqurd ran freely down her shoulder as the wound was oozing it out. Leighanne often wondered why she was injured in the first place, and what she have done to deserve this.
Eyes were going white due to the pain and fear of being caught in the opening by some hunter again. What if the hunter returns for her? Things like this was running inside her head and she knew she was easy pickings right now. Soon the sound of the wind blew into her face and calmed her spirit down. Gently placing her carmel dial down on the forest floor, she slept for few hours. Heart was beating calmy as her body rested. The pain and blood have stopped running, so Leighanne was lot better.
In around four hours from the attack, Leighanne gently got up, putting less pressure on her bad leg. Once her three hundred pound horse weight was up, Leighanne flapped her powerful wings as she streached them to. Her energy wasn't back for flying at so she didn't attempt that. Reaching the pool again, she began to drink it. The water is what she needed to get better, as long she rested it up as she would be on the mend. But with the stick still in her wound, it was more likely to get infected than better. Suddenly she heard something and spotted a human, a girl. Leighanne neighed loudly, as she reared onto her hindlegs, forcing herself to be bigger with her wings flapping powerfully, to warn her to stay away from her.
Getting exhausted from warning the two legged beast to leave her alone, she looked at her. Slowly she saw the human walking away. What was with that. Leighanne wouldn't know and simple glad the human knew her better and left her alone. She forget about her wounded shoulder and neighed loudly as her leg hit the ground darmit I forgot about this stuipd leg. Why do humans love hurting us so much Leighanne had no idea that the human girl can talk to her. Slowly limping back to her resting spot, she was showing more distress now. I wished I can get this stuipd stick out of my shoulder Leighanne then tired to pull it out again by using her mug and ivoires, but like before she couldn't reach. Soon enough she gave up again, thinking the infection would kill her next.
Her heart began to rest some more. Slowly Leighanne lowered her body onto the forest floor again. Lying on her side, as she began to think about some things why do I even bother. This stick would never come out. I just as well wait here to die. Her spirit was going and her fate was running though the clouds were over once more. Leighanne didn't know that human girl was gone or not, but then she didn't really care. Soon she closed her eyes again to drift off to sleep.

The water. Ellie always felt better by water. It had now become more evedient since she was a kid of Poseidon. Now she sort of figured out what had happened by the beach. She must of created a wave or...something. The horse looked like it was in distress. She could tell that much from its eyes....and the blood. She sort of hated blood, but she'd have to deal now. She began wondering what else she could do with water. Couldn't water be a healing source? She had no idea.
She continued to walk backwards. She heard the horse neighing at her to get away and heard its legs leave the ground. Keeping her eyes down still, walked a bit faster, backwards. The horse got tired and Ellie was almost out of its line of vision, from what she could tell by not looking at it. Then she heard a voice and froze. She looked around, keeping her eyes off the horse. No one was there. Okay....talking horse. Don't see that everyday. She bit her tongue to keep from making any noise that may spook the already injured animal.
The horse laid down on the forest floor again and looked like it was drifting off to sleep. Ellie looked around nervously. She usually wasn't Ms. Healing Hands. She was more concerned that the horse would be worse off than it was now, but that spear had to come out. It would happen now or later. If it was later, bad infections could get to it, only the head may get lodged in, numerous possibilities. None good. The pegasus had been complaining about its shoulder, which the spear was in, and her leg, which was also being affected.
Ellie hoped to the gods it was asleep and started over to the horse. She wasn't trained as a vet or anything, but she was going to get that spear out. Imagine taking it out of a target or something, its got to be clean she told her self. She counted to three, grabbed the shaft of the stick and pulled it out. She looked at it. Spear head attached. She sighed in relief, good. Then she froze, wondering how the horse would react. It was relaxed since it looked like it was partially asleep. Being relaxed when something painful was happening was good, it took some of it away, but it still hurt. She dropped the spear so the horse wouldn't mistake her as a threat and went to the river to wash her hands.

Leighanne Ripples. Droplets. Every little noise was toturing Leighanne. Something told her to get up now. But she was so weak she didn't care on what happens. Her heart was beating calmly and she opened her eyes. Seeing it was the same girl, she remain calm. Leighanne was promise by the arts of Zeus, to trust and serve the person who helped her. Seeing and feeling the spear was out of her shoulder, she have to pay back the debt. This is something she didn't want to do and she snorted.
Three hours later she attempted to stand on her legs. Her golden feathers lied on the ground. The reason she was going to attempt to put her leg onto the hard ground. Her heart and breathing race as it made her nervous right now. She shaked like mad but there was no pain she was free from it. Lifting her wings back to her back gently as her blue eyes spotted the girl. Thinking of patrical joke to play, Leighanne used her dial, to gently hit the young into the water. Once there was a splash she reared happily and nickered as well glad to have a friend at last.
Showing she was playing Leighanned neighed happily and lifted her hindlegs right now. Thank you for helping me. In order of Zeus's vow I have to help and serve you until my time comes she told her and slowly walked towards her. Leighanne wouldn't trust anyone expect another child of Poesiaon since she can understand them. Her ice blue eyes looked at her and waited for her reply back, hoped she would accepted the vow.

Ellie hoped the horse was okay. She was having a feeling that it would rest a bit and then try and walk again. Hopefully it was smart enough to stay down and not move until it felt it could move. She wondered if she had caused the pegasus a lot of pain when she had taken the spear out of its shoulder, she hoped not. She had decided to stay so if something went wrong with the horse, she could be there.
The thirteen year old rested her head against a tree and drifted off to sleep. She woke up and saw the horse starting to stand. She watched it nervously, wondering how she was going to do. Thankfully, it got up fine. The girl smiled, she had done her job right and she was able to stand. She stood up and went to slash water on her face to wake her up more. All of the sudden, she felt something hit the small of her back. She splashed into the water.
She got soaking wet. A little to late she remembered something that she didn't need to get wet. She'd only get wet if she wanted to. Oh well, to bad, guess she'd have to think dry a bit sooner. She surfaced and heard the horse giving a playful neigh. Good, the horse wasn't trying to kill her, it was playing. She smiled and got out. She looked at the pegasus. "Oh, you're welcome," she said. It was still a bit odd, being able to talk to and hear a horse.
"Uh...?" she asked in confusion. "Have to help and serve me until your time comes?" she asked a bit blankly. The meaning was clear, but Ellie wasn't sure weather to accept it or not. She helped the horse, yes, but she didn't want the horse bound to her if she didn't want to be. "It's your choice," the thirteen year old said. "We can just be friends and you don't have to be bound to me if you don't want," the girl said. She kept still as the pegasus started towards her.

Harper had always been one for wandering, most of her friends around camp knew that. She loved walking around in the daytime - it was only at night when she was social with other people. She probably got it from her father, who traveled the sky by day and rested with the other gods by night. But Harper would never admit it - she was still sore with him for not contacting her for years, even though she had longed to see him for the longest time. Whenever someone asked her about her father, she'd casually reply, 'Don't know, don't feel like I've met him before.' Which was completely true. She had seen him once in a dream, but she had walked out on it and he hadn't contacted her since. That didn't surprise her all that much.
So Harper was out here, checking out the grounds once again, even though she had just about memorized them after three years. But there were always new surprises around Camp Half-blood, as she had discovered a year ago when Harper had come across a troll on camp grounds. She hadn't fought it alone, of course, having called for help, but from then on the daughter of Apollo was always careful when wandering around on her own.
That was probably why, when she heard the whinnying of what sounded like a horse nearby, Harper froze. Her hands instantly went to her bow and arrow, which she had learned to always carry around with her. After all, as a daughter of Apollo, she was a very skilled archer and practiced just about every day with some of the other kids around camp. Harper edged towards the noise, finally coming to its place of origin to find a Pegasus standing before one of the girls from camp. Her hand dropped from her bow and Harper stared at the scene before her. She'd never actually seen such a creature up close before, and her chocolate brown eyes widened as she stared at it with undisguised wonder in her expression.
She stumbled from the brush, flushing as she did so - Harper wasn't one for such clumsy entrances. Her face still bright red, she rubbed the back of her name and tried a smile. "Sorry, I, uh... I didn't mean to interrupt. I mean... um... Well, I saw the Pegasus from over there and I was kind of wondering... how are you getting it to behave so well? Like... I thought they didn't like humans."

Leighanne Leighanne slowly began to flap her wings proudly she was happy to understand this girl. She wasn't afiard anymore. Her wound wasn't bad anymore and she could canter like she did before. Something made her worried and she spoke to her I have been tamed by a human, so I have to obey. She explained. This is what she wanted to avoid as she remembered the battles with a hero and it was painful as well. The arabian bloodline mare wanted to know, what the point in fighting. Her kind never fought as they would avoid each other, especally the stallions as they would keep fighting until the death sometimes.
Suddenly she picked up in the bushes somewhere. Ironging it as she was safe thanks to Ellie. Placing her nasel bone into her chest she rubbed it friendly and hope she would let her stay. Soon Leighanne spotted another person. Bow and arrow she immediately though she was a hunter. Getting protective of herself she reared flapping her wings powerfully at the other girl. Go away daughter of Apollo. I don't trust you with that bow and arrow in your hands she whinned out. Standing on all four now, she couldn't understand what she was saying. Leighanne turned her head towards Ellie what is she saying? This confused her and she looked at that new camper with a close watch as she could. Warning her to stay away from her, as right now she had no clue on what's going on. If she wanted to be friends then Leighanne would be her friend.

Ellie continued to watch the mare carefully to make sure she wouldn't hurt herself or anything. "Oh?" she asked. "You do?" she asked, still slightly puzzled. "I would rather want to consider you as my friend, not someone who serves me," she said with slight distaste. It sort of sounded that if she tamed her, then the pegasus was going into slavery or something. Ellie would much rather to have her as a friend. She smiled and rubbed the mare's ears.
The bushes rustles and she jumped about a foot in the air as another voice came to her. "O-oh...h-hi..." she said, starting to stammer again. "U-uh..." she said, thinking on the spot, her mind going a million miles a second. "O-oh...n-no problem, n-no need to ap-apologize," she said as the girl apologized for interrupting. How was she getting her to behave? She had no idea...she had just... "W-well...sh-she was shot...." she said, looking partially at the ground. "I-I found her and I just couldn't l-leave," she said honestly.
It was true. She couldn't leave a hurt animal just to die, it was against everything her mother had taught her about animals and morality and such. "A-and I can t-talk to her..." she muttered, then looked to see how the pegasus had reacted to it. Not well. She wondered how the mare knew it was a daughter of Apollo, but then looked at the girl. "Uh, could you just put down your bow and arrow?" she requested. She looked back at the horse. "Oh, she's just asking how I got you to calm down and stuff," she said.

Well, Harper wasn't exactly one who responded well to wild animals balking and going nuts around her. She didn't really know if her meeting with the troll in the woods her first year scarred her for life or not, but... when the Pegasus practically had a fit when it saw her, Harper jumped back. She almost tripped over more brush, but she managed to balance herself before falling. She really didn't want to look more like an idiot than she already did, and when the girl began talking to her, about not having to apologize, Harper managed to tear her eyes away from the beautiful creature to look at the girl herself.
The girl, who obviously could understand the Pegasus and therefore was a daughter of Poseidon (Harper had done her research in her good time), explained to her that the creature had been shot, and that she had tended to her. Whether that explained the Pegasus's antics towards her or not, Harper didn't really know. But when the daughter of Poseidon explained that it was just her bow and arrow, she let out a small, "Oh, sorry," before throwing her bow and arrow behind her into the brush. She did it as a quick, hasty action, not wanting to upset the Pegasus more than it already was. She, of course, could not understand it if the creature wanted to speak, but the girl who was a daughter of Poseidon could. Harper raised her hand almost in a dainty sort of wave.
She smiled sheepishly at the Pegasus and at the girl. "I'm Harper, um, daughter of Apollo. I've never really introduced myself to a mythological creature before, even though I've been here for three years. Pretty embarassing, huh?" Harper tried to laugh, but it came out more as a nervous cough. She looked between the girl and the Pegasus, trying to decide who to keep eye contact with. "I can be really bad with names sometimes, so, um... mind telling me yours? Both of you, I mean?" She flushed a brighter red.

Despite being weak from the protection she done. Leighanne have never hurt any demigod before. It wasn’t in her nature, Zeus have taught her better than that. Serve them well and you would be awarded the biggest test was when a child of Zeus was claimed and then Leighanne have to protect him/her with her life. Seeing the other girl threw her weapon Leighanne began to relax and nodded her dial as to say thank you . Looking at Ellie she released this girl couldn’t understand her so she had have her to translated for her. Tell her thank you for throwing the way the weapon. I was scared by those things after all I had a spear in my shoulder she said in a calm voice, even though all Harper was neighing, whinning or snorting which is equine language.
As Ellie stroke her ears it felt lovely and she spoke to her again. I am still your friend. A friend for life until a child of Zeus have been found. I am then have to protect that child until it’s old enough to release me from my duties. You see I have been tamed away before you were born. I am older than you can think. I have been battles and after that hero effort I was made Zeus’s thunder barren. She explained her history to the most powerful god child ever created. By the way young child I am Leighanne. You may call me Leigh. If you need to get somewhere or help with something, just whistle and I would come flying down. She hugged her friendly, still keeping an eye on the other girl. You can tell her the reason you have kept me calm, is by helping me and also we are able to understand each other. She told Ellie with a nicker, as she was smiling.
As the girl spoke again Leighanne turned her attention to Ellie again what does she want now? This was so confusing for the Pegasus who is rare in her colouration. Twisting her dial and flapping her wings to stretch them and a feather came out, showing she was moulting now. Her back was itching and needed it to be starched now as it was getting her nerves big time. Please get rid of the itch on my back but Ellie was way to short to reach, and Leighanne can’t put her knees down since her left shoulder was still very sore. Really suffering she wondered what the demigods would do.

Ellie watched as the girl threw down her bow and arrows into a bush. Well, that should help the horse calm down. The opposite girl was now weaponless, so she couldn't really pose a threat unless she had something hidden. "O-oh..." Ellie said, looking at Harper. "N-nice to m-meet you," she said. The thirteen year old thought, as the horse hadn't told her its name yet. "Oh th-that's okay," she said. A small smile came onto her face. "I am t-to sometimes," she muttered. "I-I'm not sure about the h-horses' name..." she said, looking back to the mare.
The thirteen year old looked from between Harper and the peagusus. She was the translator now. She didn't mind, but she had to loose the stutter soon. She looked at the daugher of Apollo. "The peagusus wants to thank you f-for throwing away your weapon. She's spooked of those things since a spear hit her shoulder," she translated as the mare told her.
She looked at the winged horse as she continued to rub her ears. "Oh..." she said. "Your past sounds a bit confusing," she said, laughing slightly. "But okay, I'd like you as my friend," she said, smiling. "Nice to meet you, Leighanne," the younger girl said. "Okay, I will," she said, nodding. "Thank you," she said as Leigh told her what she would do for her. She looked back at Harper. "W-well...her name's Leighanne," the younger girl said as a response to the daughter of Apollo's question. "And sh-she wants me t-to tell you that sh-she's calm because I h-helped her and w-we can understand eachother. I-I think you k-know that p-part..." she muttered.
Her gaze went back to the mare. "Oh, she just asked what our names were and I told her," Ellie said. She looked at the horse and frowned. "I-I'm to short...sorry," she said, she looked at the other demigod. "L-Leigh's itchy," she explained to Harper. Then she turned her gaze back to Leigh. "Do you think you could trust Harper to get it off?" she asked. She turned to Harper. "And would you b-be willing t-to d-do it?" she asked, her stammer returning.
