HARMONIA CLAIRE COLLETTE
Name:: Harmonia Claire Collette
Nickname::Harmony, Claire
Age:: 11
Gender:: Female
Species:: Demi-God
Olympian Parent:: Aphrodite
Years at Camp:: 2
Claimed:: yes, she knows who her parent is but hasn't met her
Celebrity Claim: Elle Fanning
Looks:: Harmonia is a very feminine looking girl with soft angelic features. She has pale blonde hair that is soft as silk that reaches past her shoulders and big eyes that change colors in different lights and look as if they could tear up at any moment. She looks delicate almost like a porcelain doll that could break at any moment. She stands about five foot and weighs roughly 75 pounds. Her lips are soft and of a natural rosy color, and all of her features are perfectly sized to make her look flawless.
Her style varies day to day. She is very feminine in appearance, but she doesn't care as much about her looks as the other Aphrodite kids do. She is content with merely running a brush through her hair and wearing jeans and a t-shirt. But she can never wear something that doesn't match due to her ocd. But because of her being so small and adorable her siblings tend to like to play dress up with her, treating her like a life size doll.
Personality:: Harmonia is a sweet and innocent girl. She is naive as all children would be, wanting to see only the good in the world and not understanding the evils. She is too accepting of the fact that she is a demigod because she always believed that mythical things did exist like in the fairy tales she had grown up reading. The is very trusting, maybe too trusting for her own good. She gives her trust to anybody, normally screwing her over in the end. Thus making Trust her fatal flaw.
Harmonia is very emotional. It doesn't take much to upset her, normally causing her to cry. But she tries to hold herself together as much as possible because she doesn't like people seeing her weak because it makes her seem like a baby. She doesn't anger much though, but when she is upset she sometimes says things she doesn't mean, regretting it almost instantly. She is far from quiet, but she can sometimes come across as shy, it all depends on who it is. She was raised to be part of the scenery, so she likes to stay out of the way as much as possible. She hates feeling like a burden.
She is highly dependent on others. She tends to stick to those close to her because of her frailty and innocence. She wants to be independent but it is hard as she wasn't really taught to care for herself. She prefers not to fight and would rather run than face her fears and opposers. This makes her stick close to other people more, often making her friend become more like a family for her as she feels abandoned by the only family she has ever known. She has abandonment issues and is scared of rejection.
Family:: father: Markus Collette-son of Ares; Charisma Christiansen-adopted mother, demigod, daughter of Thalia the goddess of festive celebrations and rich and luxurious banquets; Johnathan Christiansen-adopted mortal father
History:: Unlike most children of Aphrodite, Harmonia didn't have the best life since birth. Her birth father wasn't rich like most Aphrodite kids were normally. He was middle class, working hard to get by. He was chosen just because he had the looks, and he happened to be an Ares child. Her father knew Aphrodite was a goddess. When she brought him Harmonia to raise, she explained the situation and made him promise to protect her. Markus agreed and took the infant girl into his care. Markus did all he could to give the demigod child everything she deserved. She was all he had in the world. It was easy to dote on the little cutie. She got his attention whenever she wanted and normally got whatever she wanted as well, money providing.
It wasn't until she was three that things changed for her. Her father was walking her home from the park one weekend as it was getting dark. They had stopped to eat and by the time they finished it was really dark out. She was scared but her father held her hand saying it was alright. They were almost home. Then these thugs jumped them. One had grabbed her making her father do as they asked threatening to hurt her. He held her gently though, as if he had kids of his own. He whispered in her ear saying he wouldn't harm her. But his partner had decided to be an idiot and shot her father. The guy holding her set her down and apologized and ran.
When the police showed up, they found the girl curled up next to her father's dead bloody body. She was covered in his blood and they took her to the hospital to make sure she was alright. Aphrodite disguised herself as a social worker and took the girl from there to the home of a demigod woman who couldn't have children of her own. They had been looking to adopt a child and were waiting to be approved. Aphrodite did not reveal herself or the lineage of her child, just that she needed a place to live and she was a new orphan. The woman and her husband took the small child in without question, giving the child a home where she would be loved and cared for.
Her adopted parents were wealthy New York socialites. They had plenty of money to dote on her. She attended the best schools money could buy, she was generally happy. But nightmares plagued her sleeping moments. She couldn't forget the night she watched her father die. She would wake up screaming some nights, others she would cry. She hated being alone and had to have her new mom sit in with her to get her to sleep. Her teddy bear her father gave her became ritual as well. She had it since she was one and was unable to sleep without it. It was kept in optimal shape and still looks brand new.
At the start of the Battle of Manhattan, her father dropped to sleep but she nor her stepmother. Her stepmother didn't like the idea of having a demigod living under her roof the entire time without knowing. She definitely didn't like this. Almost immediately the woman took the child and found the base of operations and thrust her at the mercy of a random demigod belonging to Hermes cabin. She didn't know why her mom was doing that but then the woman said the child was their problem before disappearing.
The boy took her to a girl that glowed silver, a hunter of Artemis who took the child inside to get her dressed in armor so she would be more protected. At only nine years old she hadn't a clue on what was going on. Throughout most of the battle she sat inside away from all of the fighting. There was plenty of other people around to help if trouble erupted. She was happy to sit out of the way and not fight.
When a hole was blown into the side of the building they were occupying, monsters came barreling in. She was taken out swiftly by someone else to keep her out of harms way and to attempt to keep her alive. It wasn't until that person was shot by a demi-god arrow that Harmonia learned she could charm speak. It was a demigod that had gone to Kronos's side. They came to her with a dagger and she was crying as she fought to keep him from stabbing her. In the process she told him to stop and he did so. She became confused and went further to tell him to go away and he ran from the room leaving her alone.
When the battle ended a camper found her curled up in a corner. It was the Hermes boy that had sent her with the hunter to get armor on. He was cut up and dirty but he smiled nicely and offered her his hand as they left. She was taken back to camp half blood where she was claimed by Aphrodite at only nine years old. Even though she wasn't in the same cabin as the boy, the older Hermes boy became like a big brother to her, helping to keep an eye out for her and such. He was the one that showed her around and helped her get adjusted into the camp and get some clothes and supplies.
It was another year, after she was ten that the boy was sent on a quest to retrieve another demigod child. Harmonia had become better at her charm speak and was quite powerful but refused to use it if she didn't absolutely have to. She had refused to train, being of a pacifist standing, she instead took up extra classes and helped out in the infirmary with the Apollo kids. It was then that they brought back the body of her Hermes friend. Harmonia took it hard, becoming depressed. The Hermes Cabin allowed her to band with them to make his shroud and burn it.
For the next few months she secluded herself from everyone not caring what she looked like or anything else for that matter. A few times other campers had to force her to go to meals and a few times she had ended up in the infirmary sick from grief. She spent more and more time alone and away from other people. She was in such deep of sorrow over her dead 'brother' that she about forgot her birthday. She was eleven. Now, she is finally starting to open up again and let people in. Trying to get back into her activities she once enjoyed at camp as a year round student.
Name/Nickname:: Aisilyn/Lyn
Roleplaying Experience:: Nine years going on ten...also have admining experience and have made sites. Avid Graphic artist.
Sample RP:: Eva sat at the baby grande piano. The sound of the keys as she played was like heaven to her ears. Eva had no school for the day. It was her senior year. She had first come to Forks only knowing Italian. Now she could fluently speak English. Being the only Cullen at Forks High was hard. But Edward usually was there to help her with her homework where she would get stuck. She wasn't the perfect student, but she survived.
Eva wondered where everyone was at. It was a sunny day, one of the rare few in Forks. Even though she wasn't a vampire, they let her stay home to keep up appearances that they all went camping on sunny days. But in truth, everyone went and did their own thing. So Eva sat here playing a song she had written a couple of years back. It was soft and melodic, almost hypnotic and erotic. It hadn't meant anything rally. But the melody had formed and stuck.
The seventeen year old human sighed softly. She didn't like being alone but if that was how she was to spend her day, then so be it. Eva wasn't very picky. She was happy just being around her family. Maybe she would go lounge outside and work on her tan. She had the darkest skin out of everyone in the family, but she was still pale. Her tan was faint. When she was in Italy, she had a pretty tan, and now that she was in Forks, she had paled a bit. So maybe some sun would be nice. Maybe later though. Because Eva wanted to play the piano some more.
The secret CD Eva had made for Edward was stashed in her room. It was a present for him. She was just waiting for the opportune moment to give it to him. She had been working on it for a few months now, and it was finally finished. On it were 12 tracks of nothing but songs she had written for Edward to listen to whenever she wasn't there to play for him. Both of them loved playing the piano and it just seemed like the best present to give to him at the time.
Being a nice relaxing day, Eva was dressed in a white floor length dress with white flats on. Her hair hung loose in curls around her small frame. She looked like an angel almost. But she was only a mere human. That was how she had been for 17 years now. The last two she spent with the Cullen family, a family of sparkling vampires.
