Celebrity Claim: Matthew Lawrence
Looks::
Xavier stands exactly six feet tall in height and weighs one hundred and seventy seven pounds. He is pretty muscular from years of fitness training and sword fighting training from his father. Girls seem to be attracted to him, but he doesn’t get the idea that he’s a good looking guy. His hair is mostly brown with some blonde in it in streaks.
Xavier is capable of serious focus and thus his eyes can reflect that change in thought concentration. When his brown eyes become light and his eyes narrow in shape, it’s safe to assume he’s thinking of something important to him. His eyes are a good path to his emotions because otherwise he’s pretty good at masking them.
Personality::
Xavier embodies a lot of things that he inherited from his immortal mother. He has a calmness about him that can be really beneficial to have around. The reason he is so calm is because his brain is constantly on overdrive whether it is to come up with a plan or just making the most out of a bad situation. Everything to him is built on calculations so there is always a right decision in his mind. Even when it seems that he has no good options, he prides himself on finding a way out of it. This is especially handy when it comes to combat. He is specifically talented with a sword in his hand, as that is the area he received the most training in.
The downside to this is his social life falters with his peers. His black and white logical approach to things can put people off to him. He has a difficult time letting loose or acting on impulse. Many times people his age wanted to hang out but he would always refuse to study in a library or with his father. He always preferred training over leisure time because he saw it as wasted and not optimal. Also, the most fun time ever for him was when he and his father would discuss technique in battle, their favorite warrior of all time being the legendary Achilles.
Family::Mother: Athena; Father: James Alexander
Siblings: Many half siblings, none by James Alexander
History:: Seventeen years ago, James Alexander was a college student at Yale, studying Classic Literature with an emphasis in Greek Mythology as well as a minor in Greek Studies. He had always been fascinated with the heroes of the literature such as Achilles, whom he’d idolized as a child. He was always a star pupil to all of his professors, having one of the highest grade point averages even at a prestigious school like Yale. One day, a beautiful lady who appeared a few years older than him attended his class. He had never seen her before, but he was fascinated every time she spoke. She challenged him on every topic, debating him in front of his entire class. At one point the argument got so heated they stood toe to toe, looking each other directly in the eyes. She told him that he couldn’t dream of understanding a goddess like Athena. He told her that if she had any sense she would know that Athena’s intellect is beyond the point of understanding so one wouldn’t begin to try. A smile crept over her face and mentally the two fell for each other on the spot.
That night when James arrived back in his apartment, there was a baby boy with a note on his small carriage that read, “This is beyond understanding, so one shouldn’t begin to try.” With a smile, James knew that all his dreams had come true. He knew exactly how children of Athena were born and he accepted immediately that the love had just made mentally with the Goddess of Wisdom was more valuable than any physical love he could make with anyone else. At that very moment, the first thing he told his son was that he was extremely honored to be his father. In the mother of his son’s honor, he pledged an oath of virginity for the rest of his life. His son looked back at him with the same eyes his father had and smiled, not knowing what was going on. Soon Athena appeared in the doorway, staring at James and her son. When James saw her, she smiled and waved goodbye. James always knew that the gods were real, and now he could be a happy man for the rest of his life.
From that day forth, James dedicated his life to making his son he named Xavier the best man he could be. He raised the child as if he were the son of Alexander the Great or related to Achilles himself. He taught him to master the art of battle strategy, sword fighting, critical thinking, and control over one’s emotions. Time and again Athena would come to visit her son and monitor his progress. Young Xavier put making his mother proud over any other accomplishment he could earn. Years of straight honor roll and chess club championships didn’t matter unless his mother dropped by to tell him that he had honored her birthing him. Even though he was born of a virgin, he never thought this was less than a regular vaginal birth. He was so proud to have Athena as his mom, even if he couldn’t tell anyone.
Recently Athena visited Xavier’s home and together they decided that it was time her son went to camp with other demi-gods so that he could develop his talent amongst his peers. As sad as James was to see him leave, he knew that they were making the proper choice. Nothing was more comforting to his son that the right choice at all times. James was very smart, but still he wasn’t as good at pushing emotions behind logic the way Athena and X were. He did his best though, and summoned up the courage to let Athena take her talented son to the Camp Half-Blood. It would be a new beginning, but his goal was the same, make his mother proud.
