Isaac couldn't believe what he was thinking of doing as he crossed the green, taking the most direct route from Athena's cabin to Hades'. To be quite honest this was maybe not his brightest move, but he felt like he needed to do something. He'd had another dream about Alice sneaking out. Despite that Apollo had confirmed she wasn't in danger right now, he couldn't help but feel a need to give her a piece of his mind about this. Things at home might not have been perfect, but this was ridiculous. Thus he was going to talk to Nico di Angelo, son of Hades. Someone who made a habit of slipping out of camp. Isaac needed help figuring out how, because he planned to sneak out and visit his family.
He paused on his way, beginning to wonder if he wasn't being over dramatic. Was finding out about these dreams and talking at his sister really a reason to try and pull this kind of stunt? Sneaking out of camp was against the rules for a reason, and he'd never been one for breaking the rules or making a nuisance of himself. But then again, there was a first time for everything, wasn't there? He was halfway between the two cabins now. It would take just as long to reach the Hades cabin as it would to go back. He could still go back and pretend these crazy thoughts had never crossed his mind.
He looked behind him, at the Athena cabin, then turned to look at the Hades cabin. I must be crazy. I must be absolutely mental for even thinking of doing something this dangerous. But to be completely honest, some of Apollo's last words in their talk had him thinking he was going to do this no matter how crazy it was. One couldn't have a family reunion without Isaac leaving camp one way or the other, and he didn't think this could wait until the end of the summer.
With that settling his resolve, he covered the rest of the distance between him and the black cabin with its ever-burning green torches. He climbed the skull steps to the door, raised his hand, and hesitated. Again he thought of how insane sneaking out of camp was, but it seemed like his only option. He wasn't going to get a quest any time soon, and that was the only way he'd get permission to leave. Nico knew how to get in and out. Isaac needed that insight. He couldn't risk leaving things to chance and getting caught. So he knocked after whispering a silent prayer that his mother would forgive his sudden act of stupidity.

Nico sat in the Hades cabin, where he lay on his bed with his eyes closed. Of course it was the middle of the day but he didn't care. He hardly cared what others thought about him, which was good since he always seemed to disobey the rules of camp somehow. One of his more famous stunts was being able to get out of camp without anyone knowing. But someone would know every time. If he ever got in serious trouble outside of camp, he would need someone on the inside to tell others. Now, nothing bad ever really happened when he went out, but still it was nice knowing that someone was there. As he lay in bed, his thoughts lead off to the last time he was in the Underworld with his father.
Every year Hades would make Nico's training harder. Which of course made sense since he was another year older. The last time he was here, he left after a couple weeks. He couldn't handle the constant talking of everyone. Even though he had started to get more open, ever since his sister died, he just found it a little hard to talk to others. Nico could feel himself starting to drift off into a deep sleep.
This was to be assumed since he had just used a lot of his strength to shadow-travel in and out of camp. It was nothing really big. He had just wanted to go out to eat. After three weeks of the camp food, his taste-buds got bored. Nico felt himself actually fall asleep. Not less than three minutes later, he jumped up an out of bed shocked out of mind. "I'M AWAKE!" He said unsure of the noise he heard. He wasn't sure if he was dreaming when he heard it or if he was awake.
As he stood up while rubbing his eyes and looked around. Confusion crossed his face as he didn't hear anything else. After a couple minutes he heard a knock again. He smirked and shook his head. "Pull it together man. It was just the door." He whispered to himself. He walked over and opened the door. When he saw Isaac, he raised an eyebrow. "What's up?"
((Sorry about the lateness or replying. I hope this is okay!))

Eventually someone came to the door, but Isaac had to knock a second time before that happened. The guy who answered asked what was up. He could have been either of the sons of Hades, but from the age Isaac would have been more willing to guess that this was Nico and not Cryptos. That, and he'd seen the two of them around before, so guessing really wasn't an issue.
"You're Nico, right?" he asked. Then he held out his hand. "Isaac Winters, son of Athena. I need a little help with something, and I think you might be able to help me." That was a lot more open than Isaac had been with anyone right off the bat, and it was also really forward and to the point. Hopefully Nico wouldn't be totally put off by his attitude. Isaac was still thinking inside that this was crazy, but he'd already jumped of the edge, so to speak. There was no turning back anymore.
Isaac waited a moment, if only to not feel like he was dumping a mountain of information on the guy at once. "I've heard you're good at getting out of camp. Now, I'd assume you use shadow travel. But I was wondering if you knew of any ways someone without that ability could get out." Isaac really wasn't sure if Nico wanted to know why he wanted to sneak out of camp. To be honest, people who knew Isaac would wonder. He was supposed to be smart, and on top of that he was generally well behaved. This was a very out of character move for him. Still, he couldn't help thinking he needed to go home to solve the mystery behind his dreams, and he was not figuring he'd have a chance to leave the camp any time soon by any means that were acceptable. This was one time when breaking the rules was just going to be necessary.
((OOC: That was fine. ^_^ And it was no problem waiting.))

HERE WE GO AGAIN; WE'RE SICK LIKE ANIMALS WE PLAY PRETEND Nico di Angelo , SO TAKE IT EASY ON ME; I'M AFRAID YOU'RE NEVER SATISFIED --------------------------------------------------- Nico raised his eyebrows when Isaac started to speak. He smirked when he came right out and basically said that he needed help. He nodded and shook his hand with the hand that didn't have the skull ring on it. "Nico. Nice to meet you." He waited for Isaac to speak more and wasn't shocked with what he heard next. Of course others had come to him before for help. He did help them if he thought the reason wasn't stupid, and he had many ways to get others out of camp. He stood next to the door so that Isaac could come in. Nico didn't think it was the best of ideas to talk about this outside with people walking around. "Come in. We have a lot to discuss. First off, is what time of the day would you want to sneak out? It's way easier with the dark of night, but it can be done during the early morning hours.
Once Isaac had come inside, he closed the door behind the two of them. The cabin was lit by a light that hung in the middle of the room. Since it was on, it illuminated the entire floor and space. Nico walked out to his bed and sat on it. Opposite it, a couch and a table sat next to the wall, which he was waiting to see if Isaac would sit on or not. ”So. Why do you want to get out of camp? You tired of camp food? Want to see your old friends? Want to go monster hunting? Or do you want to see your family again?” He had heard all those excuses for getting out of camp. The last one was the most common, followed closely by the second, then the first, and lastly the third. He looked straight at Isaac wondering why he had come and why he wanted to sneak out. You didn’t necessarily need Nico’s help to get out of this camp. You could just walk out if you knew the right place.
Nico’s eyes glazed over as his thoughts wandered to how Isaac would get to where he needed to get once he got out of camp. That was always an issue for some and not for others. Of course it all depended on their reason for wanting out. Most of the time, you could take a Pegasi with you, and it would work perfectly fine. But for some, like Nico himself, flying wasn’t an option. He was pretty sure that Zeus would shoot him out of the sky if he went in the air. Luckily for him he didn’t have to. And if others felt as if they couldn’t go in the sky, he had a ton more ways to get them through the borders. Some took time, but others were a quick little job. He shook his head and turned back to Isaac’s situation. If Isaac couldn’t tell him the reason, Nico didn’t know if he could help him. With all that happened a couple years ago, he still had a hard time with people leaving camp in fear of them lying. Of course they could say something else and go become evil. But, hardly anyone ever did that. Well at least that’s what Nico thought.

Nico introduced himself and shook Isaac's hand. Then, when he finally had heard why Isaac was here to see him, he ushered Isaac inside. Isaac certainly didn't mind that idea, following him into the Hades cabin. It wasn't like this was a smart topic to be discussing where anyone could hear it. Sneaking out didn't work if everyone knew that you were doing it and when you were doing it. "Probably at night," Isaac said as Nico shut the door. "The longer it takes for people to find out, the better in my opinion."
He looked around the Hades cabin. It was well lit, and oddly kind of homey. With all the skulls and the green torches outside, somehow Isaac had expected the inside to be extremely gruesome and horrid. Then again, Nico had to live here. Despite that he was a son of the god of death, Isaac couldn't imagine the kid wanted to be surrounded by reminders of it. This cabin was Nico's space - and his half-brother's - not Hades'. Nico had to feel at home here. Besides, just because Hades was the god of death didn't mean he didn't have a sense of design and interior decorating. For all Isaac knew, this might actually be really similar to how Hades' palace in the underworld looked on the inside.
Nico took a seat on one of the beds, and Isaac made his way to a couch that sat near it. He sat down on it, facing Nico as the other boy started talking again. He was asking why Isaac wanted to sneak out of the camp. Despite that he wanted to make sure as few people as possible knew, Isaac had no issues telling Nico what he was leaving camp for. It wasn't like he was just doing it for kicks and giggles like most demi-gods did. If it wasn't for the dreams, Isaac wouldn't have even considered the concept. Sure he wanted to patching things up with his dad, but a letter did that as easily as trying to sneak out of the camp, possibly more easily seeing as it didn't risk getting him in trouble. However, there was the whole little thing with wanting to know why he was having visions about his mortal sister, or rather why she was sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night.
The dreams were probably what Apollo said. The first two had been memories because Isaac had been thinking about her. They'd been vivid, movie replays of a few of the most prevalent memories he had containing Alice. Then, when he'd gotten worried, his need to be sure she was safe had caused him to have an honest vision of her sneaking out. That first vision was leading to more now, because he couldn't understand what his sister was up to. All he knew was he couldn't sit by and let it keep happening.
He shifted on the couch, sighing a little before he said, "It's sort of the family thing, but I wouldn't be doing this if it was just a typical trip, going out for kicks and giggles or just because I miss them." He paused for a moment, trying to find the words for what he wanted to say next. Then he went on. "You know how dreams for demi-gods are visions and messages? Well, I've been having dreams of my mortal half-sister sneaking out. I don't know what she's doing, but I do know it's going to lead to me going home at some point. I ended up talking to Apollo about the dreams, not actually something I'd intended to do, but oh well. He told me she was safe, but hinted that this was going to end in an interesting family reuinion. I can only figure that means I'm going home sooner or later, and it might as well be before Alice gets herself into any trouble, or at least any more trouble."
