THALIA GRACE
Name:: Thalia Grace
Nickname:: Thal, Tal, Pinecone face (thalia: don't call me that!)
Age:: seventeen// looks -15
Gender:: female
Species:: demigod hunter of Artemis
Olympian Parent:: Zeus
Years at Camp:: hard to say, perhaps 4-8 depending on how you look at it... *coughpinetreecough*
Claimed:: doubble yes
Celebrity Claim: Kaya Scodelario
Looks:: Thalia is not exactly tall nor is she short. She is actually around 17 years old but only looks 15/16 as she became a hunter of Artemis. She has green/blue eyes that seem to pierce you through, and she now has longer brown hair usually down, or in a ponytail. Overall she has a regal, sort of commanding stature.
Personality::Thalia is a very loyal girl, she when she trusts someone she gives them her lifeline, she loves her friends but not really her mother. In her own way she does, but she disagreed so much with her mother. Thalia can be honest and outgoing. She will tell the truth and be blunt about it which usually gets some disapproval from her father, which couldn't bother her one bit. Thalia dislikes Zeus and those who have more authority over her, probably because of power; her weakness- along with acrophobia.
Thalia is a natural born leader, she doesn't like it when anyone else try's to take control- which would usually be Percy. She doesn't really mind guys and tends to have a tolerance to the wild perhaps because of her own mother. Thalia is the lieutenant hunter but doesn't really mind the guys, and infect gave percy a hug after becoming a hunter. Even through the changes in her life, she will always remain a friend to you unless you do something step in the way.
Thais can have a sharp tongue, she isn't all soft and sweet cuddly teddy bear type, not at all. She is like a general who believes in the future and moving forward. She tends to understand the solitude of a leader as well as a friend which is an interesting balance between the two. She has some friends though others are more scared of her... Which is surprising to her because she doesn't find herself intimidating... Okay maybe a little bit.
She has a reputation for losing her temper as well, she doesn't do well when people tell her what to do, or how she should do something or if people don't do things as she might. If you get her too upset she might singe your eyebrows off- on accident though she won't regret it too much. She isn't one who hates too many, nor does she really ever make too many enemies... Unless they are monsters.
Family::
Ms. Grace (wonderful *eye roll* mommy)
Jason Grace (brother, she doesn't know about)
Zeus/ Jupiter (daddy dearest)
History::Thalia Grace was born to a famous actress and Zeus. Zeus was attracted by Thalia's mother because she was rather good looking and famous, but an alcoholic. Zeus left Thalia and her mother mainly because she kept pestering about granting her eternal beauty. Four years later, Zeus came back but it was his roman aspect, he was more strict, disciplined and fatherly towards Thalia. It was that year that her mother gave birth to her little brother, Jason Grace.
Zeus left again, only months after Jason was born. Thalia adored her brother, he was very cute in her mind and she felt like she had to protect her little brother from their mother. But when then things changed, Jason and Thalia went for a picnic one day along with their mother. But when Thalia went to get the basket of food, Jason was gone, and her mother said that he was gone, and someone claimed him. Thalia went looking, she was kicking and screaming when her mother dragged her away sadly. Thalia took her little brother's disappearance as the last straw. She ran away from home, and ran into Luke Castellan, a son of Hermes. They soon became friends and went across the country, fighting monsters.
It wasn't long before Thalia and Luke came across a little girl, Annabeth who had a hammer and was screaming, no more monsters. Thalia who had her shield up, had to put it away before they realized that this little girl was a half blood, like them. They took Annabeth in, but soon after, they had to visit Lukes mother because one of their safe houses was destroyed. Thalia was also badly hurt so she was bandaged by May Castellan. That was when they witnessed May and Hermes arguing, which was when the three left.
They were found by Grover Underwood, a satyr who was then bound to help them get to Camp Half Blood. Hades was angered by Thalia's existence so he set the worst of the monsters out to chase her. Thalia and her friends got to Half Blood hill but it was then that Thalia decided to stand on her own so that her friends could live. Thalia fought but was dying, her father took pity on her and turned her into a Pine Tree; her spirit helped protect the border for years until Luke poisoned it. After Percy saved the tree by retrieving the Golden Fleece, the magic worked too well, that Thalia was then spit out.
Thalia later went on a quest to get two demigods, she found Bianca and Nico DiAngleo with Percy and Annabeth and Grover. But Annabeth was lost and Thalia, Zoe Nightshade, Grover and Bianca set out to find her, but joined by Percy later. Thalia didn't want to join the hunters a while ago probably because of Luke, Annabeth had once wanted to as well. On the Quest to find Annabeth and Artemis, Thalia found the Ophiotaurus, and was tempted to sacrifice the beast so that she could gain the power. Thalia didn't want to feel that again, so she became a Huntress of Artemis after Zoe died.
Thalia spent some years fighting monsters, but before Percy's sixteenth birthday, she and her hunters helped secure Manhattan, so that Kronos couldn't take over the and get to Olympus. Right before Kronos entered the Throne room on Olympus, she was trapped under a statue that Hera had fall, intending to impale Annabeth, but instead trapped Thalia.
Thalia eventually got out from under Hera's mess and had an injured leg for a while. She along with her friends were honored by Zeus. She still stands by Artemis as her first lieutenant.

from: here; the woods are never [EMPTY] | tag. open. written by me, Paige. (and the other person, Jay as Jaxon.)
Thalia wandered around the camp that she hadn't ever really explored this part of camp, though when playing capture the flag agains percy it was sort of different. She never really could stop and take in the scenery. She was wearing her non- hunter clothes for the day, just dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt with the words "we told you so" written in silver. Thalia's bracelet which turned into Aegis was on her wrist as was the silver circlet symbolizing she was the first lieutenant of Artemis on her head.
It wasn't like Thalia to go wandering around the forest without much purpose either she really needed time away from people- which was something she didn't really get to do much of anymore because she was constantly surrounded by hunters. It was nice to be away from everyone from time to time. It wasn't that she was exactly antisocial, in fact she was mostly the opposite of that, she was a leader and she loved being in charge, not to sound all stuck up or anything, it was just in her blood. Having one of the most respected fathers as well as sort of hated (but don't tell him that) was sort of a downer as well as a good thing.
She knew that Zeus wasn't exactly the most loved, but he was in charge. Thalia knew that he had to concentrate on his work more than on his Demigod children, which was probably a good thing but she couldn't help but feel somewhat ignored and just being the way she was, Thalia wasn't always to pleased with this. She liked attention, though not to the point her mother did... not at all like that.
The woods were rather quiet today, usually you could hear a few monsters in range but today it was all quiet and slightly eerie. In the distance, there was a rustle, and a soft growl but Thalia didn't peruse the monster. She had mostly forever to do that with Artemis and the rest of the hunters. Thalia let out a quiet breath just for the sake of breathing in the clean air, which was much different from the polluted city. Speaking of which, she hadn't been to Manhattan in a while, nor had she been to Mt. Olympus or rather the Empire State Building so to speak.
As the huntress walked on in her own thoughts she didn't quite realize where she was. She was of course always listening for noises, there were monsters in these woods, she reminded herself after a few moments. They were put here for training after all. She was a rather good fighter and with the shield, most things would stay away from the hideous metal head of Medusa. She checked her pocket for the Mace Canister which contained her spear. It was there, which was good because she couldn't really fight without it. Rather fight a monster without it, monsters had all sorts of inconvenient tricks and unfair physical advantages like oh their teeth maybe and extra magical enhancements. She was strong but not if it was wrestling..
Thalia began to slow down, her steps not as quick, instead walking in a more leisurely pace towards a nice redwood tree that was not too far ahead and sat below it staring off into the distance before the sound of rattling pencils and a the faint scratches like that of someone writing. She glanced around before noticing another boy sitting on the forest floor drawing. Thalia didn't quite know who this boy was. Unlike some hunters, she was generally kind to people unless they proved to be unkind to her or somehow offended her. She didn't quite want to disturb the artist instead would wait to see if he took note of her, if not she would continue her long train of thought...
