Delia has long blond hair with natural golden brown highlights. Normally it falls straight though sometimes, when she doesn't care, it will be wavy. She's pretty tall for a girl standing at 5 feet 10 inches, with long toned legs. Her skin is a light caramel color from all the times she spends outside training. Her body type is fit, mostly due to training and love for exercise. Delia's eyes are a dark shade of gray that often times have a hint of blue in them.
Style wise Delia is a big fan of shorts and tank tops. Her wardrobe though is not absent of jeans, dresses and awesome tops. Her true passion though, like most girls, are shoes. Delia has enough shoes to make the Aphrodite girls jealous. When people ask her about her shoes she says it's because she loves to travel and there should be a shoe for every ocassion.
Personality::
Delia is a complicated person, She is trusting and loves to try new things and explore. She's a free spirit who's opinionated and confident. There is nothing that Delia wouldn't do for the people she loves. She's greatly appreciative of the things she has in life. She's not normally a hateful person, but she's a skeptic in most cases. Delia likes to be comfortable and she likes when the people around her a happy. Delia's greatest passions are traveling and challenges.
She is very laid back which is why she doesn't come off as a troublemaker, but the truth of it is Delia enjoys trouble. Over the years she has perfected a way of starting drama without being implicated. Because of this and her father Delia is a pretty good liar. Though Delia prefers the truth she doesn't have a problem with lying. Delia's life motto is "never get caught".
Nobody is perfect though and sometimes Delia takes things too far. She isn't big on facing the problems after she creates them either. Despite all her training and her love to fight she avoids conflict at all costs. Delia doesn't like making decisions either, which really complicates things. Worst of all Delia would rather continue to lie then admit the truth, something she has been working hard to change.
Really, Delia isn't a bad person, she just has some really bad habits. It didn't help that her role models growing up were questionable. All in all though, Delia is sweet and spontaneous. She is adventurous and troublesome. But one thing is for sure and that's her fierce loyalty to her father and her friends.

History::
Cordelia Jane Marshall didn't know anything about the mist when she was a child growing up in Louisiana. She didn't suspect a thing when they moved to Denver or Tuscon or Vegas, not even when they moved L.A. and that was how her mother wanted. It was a mistake, a huge mistake, that's what her mother would say whenever they moved or there was a question about Delia's father.
Delia never really suspected there was anything strange about her. Her only real companion was her twin sister and they rarely spent time together. Delia's older brother Zak - nine years older - had run away when Delia eight and nobody had heard from him sense. As she got older she was convinced that the moving would stop, but she had been wrong as if it was an annual event they would move somewhere else by spring time. Delia blamed her inability to face problems and make decisions on this, because she was never around long enough for it to matter.
As she got older Delia started to get into more trouble and soon she found out she was good at it. The thrill of mischief was enticing to her and so Delia didn't hesitate to start drama between other students. It was really a problem until she was twelve and some students were attacked by some crazy winged creature - which she learned later was called a fury - that anybody did anything about it.
That summer she moved again, her and her sister Anabelle. Her mother drove them all the way to New York and dropped them off in front of some big wooden sign that said Camp Half-Blood, she never bothered to explain. While she was there they explained to her what it meant to be a demi-god and she was sent to the Hermes cabin to stay temporarily. That was until in the middle of some crazy scheme she was revealed to really be his daughter.
Things in the Hermes cabin were complicated, with so many people around she was just another face in the crowd. Delia didn't mind though because then nobody would notice her trouble making. For a while she wanted to be like Luke, her half-brother and head of the Hermes cabin. But when she found out what he was doing she nixed that idea and returned to her devious years.
In her first year at camp was pretty hard. Even though Delia knew she was supposed to be there demi-god life wasn't easy to adjust too. For her it was strange to be in one place for so long. That and he constant training, Delia wasn't ever a violent person and so learning to fight was a task. It was like pulling teeth. At first it didn't matter but then Percy Jackson showed up. After Zeus' lightening bolt was stolen her life was flipped upside down. Suddenly learning to fight wasn't an option it was an obligation.
Once more of the camp learned about Luke's betrayal thinks got hectic for the Hermes' cabin, so much so they might as well have been children of Hades. Everyone started to look at them differently and after a while Delia struggled to deal with it all.
After two years at camp Anabelle left, but Delia decided to stay despite her struggles. The next time saw her sister Anabelle said something about getting away for good which really meant joining in Luke's cause. Before Delia found out things had began to get better at camp, she had even found love, or so she thought. But once news of Anabelle reached her Delia left camp and her boyfriend behind to try and convince her sister to change her mind.
When Delia returned a few months later she was hardly the same girl, her main focus became training. All Delia wanted was to put an end to the coming war and fast. But everyone knew it wasn't that simple. When the battle finally came things made a little more sense, with Anabelle on Luke's side Delia did everything to destroy Kronos' army and still save her sister. Things didn't go as planned though, Anabelle was lost when Kronos got into Olympus.
In the years following the war, Delia has slowly gotten to normal. With all the new demi-gods appearing the Hermes' cabin has been hectic. Things were starting to get easy again when they found out about the new prophecy. On the anniversary of Anabelle's death Delia left camp for a while and now as she returns again, she doesn't know what to expect.

Denny was a really interesting person, in fact he was the most interesting person that Sam had ever met. Which was probably why he was one of her only friends at the academy. It wasn't that she couldn't make friends, it was just easier not to disappoint people if there weren't so many who expected things of you.It was a bad way to look at things, but while she was trying to recover it was better that way. It was hard to recover if everything made you think you were failing. Sam ran a hand through her hair before pulling it back over her shoulders.
She giggled when he said it was getting loud. Sam could only imagine how horrible it was always being around other people.It had to get hectic, voices constantly contradicting him.With everything else he was going through, that had to be the absolute worst. If she was him her suicide would have been more than just an attempt. Failure, that's all that was. Her doctors said she failed because she didn't really want to die. The idea made her laugh. If she didn't really want to die, then why did she attempt to twice. She had to admit things were much better than before, but that didn't change anything. If she had succeeded in dying she wouldn't have minded missing all of this.
Samuel, of all the nicknames she had gotten over the years that was the most curious one. Most people called her lame names like Sammy or Sam I Am. At least Samuel wasn't over used, not for a girl at least. "Just needed some fresh air. I went for a run earlier," she replied with a shrug. The run hadn't gone so well, but the fresh air had proven useful.
"You know how it is, sometimes you have to get away from the crazies," she joked with a grin. There was no way of escaping the crazies at the academy but it was fun to imagine you could. The exciting part about it was if you considered them as sane then Sam was one of the most normal people there. That was not the case though and there was no way of denying it. "My mother is coming," she said more just to tell somebody. No one else knew.
