Adonia was originally born in Ireland because her mother was in the Army for being a nurse. But as she was growing up, Adonia was always changing schools cause of her mother’s work. One day, while they were staying in the Philippines, there was an attack on the base. Her mother was shot in the leg, where it tore major muscles. So Selena got an honorary discharge from the Army. Then that’s where their life in the state of Flordia, United States started.
When Adonia was at school one day, when she was about ten years old, a child had fallen at school and scraped his knee. She knew right away on the right way to heal it. And when it came to music class, where the kids get the recorders to play, Adonia knew right away how to play beautiful melodies without learning how to play. Adonia didn’t think really much of it at the time because she thought she was good at caring cause of her mother, and she thought that music just came naturally to her, maybe from her father’s side. Once she had gotten home from school, Adonia asked who her father was, then that’s when Selena sat her down and talked to her about her father.
Adonia had learned that Apollo was her father. She didn’t believe it at first since he was from the books she read. But her mother said that he was real, that she had met him in the bunk of Germany. He had taken away by her ability to heal people and care for them. Selena said she was in love, then became pregnant. Adonia just shook her head and went to her room and grabbed her book. She was staring at the pictures of Apollo in her book. He is not real, he is not real. Adonia was thinking to herself. But then, all of a sudden, there was a faint light coming from the corner of her room. He said that his name was Apollo and that he had claimed her as his daughter. Then from that day on, Adonia had known that was her father.
As the years had gone by, her mother got remarried and they moved again this time to California. Adonia has liked it there, way better than Florida. But when she was 16, she had noticed that there was something wrong when she came home. Her mother was sitting on the couch with a goat boy next to her. Selena had said that Adonia needed to go to this camp where they would help her train her in her traits. As in healing. Adonia quickly agreed. She thinks that she would be a big help there since she loved to help other people.
Adonia packed her stuff that night and headed out the next morning. She turned back to look at her house once more, than headed out to Camp Half-Blood.

Violeta was done running the bar for the afternoon, so her boss, which is her father, let her go early to do whatever she wanted. Violeta was a bit spoiled, but she didnt mind it. Till she was the age of sixteen, her father let her do anything and gave everything she wanted. But till he got remarried to Martha and having a younger sister. So that all stopped, which Violeta definiately hates, but she is getting used to it. Being twenty-one, Martha had told Violeta that she needed to stop acting like such a diva and start acting grown up. Violeta had always thought that she was grown up. She does her own hair, make-up and even picks out her own clothes, Isnt that grown up enough?
She had arrived to the beach and looked at the ocean. It very beautiful at the moment, but this made her think of her mother, Aphrodite. Sure, Violeta was probably as beautiful as her mother, but she didnt know if she looked exactly like her, or somewhat like her. She did look somewhat like her dad, and acted like him when she got angry. Violeta shurgged her shoulders and let the thought leave her head, it made her feel kind of sad thinking that she hadnt seen her mother yet.
Violeta went to a rock, where the ocean was splashing on it and took a seat. The cute little pink bikini she had on made her body look perfect as always. She was definiately confident in her body and of her looks. So it was normal for her to see the men checking her out or taking second looks, she just loved it. It made her feel better when she was feeling sad.
She reached into the bag she had around her shoulder and pulled out some tanning lotion. Violeta put some into her hand and rubbed it across her shoulders and down her arms. As she was applying it, she noticed that there was a girl laying in the water. Violeta always wondered why people did that. But she shrugged and now applied the lotion to her legs, humming a little tune her father sang to her when she was younger.
