Talia skipped her way towards the climbing wall, she had had an extremely odd breakfast with another child of a minor god who had stolen her bacon and sat at the wrong table! It had lava, fire, falling boulders, and a steep climb. The wall was her easiest way to train, she didn't have to hurt people and the heat was severe enough to keep her awake as long as she wasn't on the ground too much. It was a bit of a ways from the dining pavilion, and she took her time. The last time she had attempted the wall she had gotten a nasty burn on her back, making it hard to sleep with out waking up screaming in pain whenever she rolled the wrong way. It was such a good thing to have an empty cabin.
Natalia wasn't even 30 yards away from the climbing wall and she could already hear a scream coming from it, along with the searing heat. Seconds later she felt the ground shudder as the next boulder fell down to the earth. She hesitated, did she really want to go there today? Surely she could just walk away, no one would notice. She could just turn around and forget about everything and daydream for a few hours. Of course she couldn't though, she always went to the wall after breakfast and she didn't want to break her routine just yet, otherwise she'd skip it every day.
So, there Natalia stood, looking up to the top of the climbing wall. She had made it to the top before, each time only barely, but she had made it... then fallen asleep less then 10 minutes after getting back to the ground. She supposed that seemingly near death occasions did that too her. Natalia rubbed her hands together ready to start. Right hand, left hand, right foot, and left foot. She moved her body in that order, never having less then three limbs attached to the climbing wall at one time. It was easier to scale the wall that way and it made her less likely to fall. Suddenly a boulder rolled down just a foot beside her, she silently screamed and slipped down a few feet before she could get a hand hold again. A bit frazzled she got down the climbing wall to take a quick break and steady her heart beat.

Sophie hated heights with a passion. Out of all her fears that was the top of the list. With the nightmares that had been literally haunting her mind about falling to her death off a cliff…the eldest daughter of Apollo shook her head as she walked around camp, nearing her destination. Not the archery fields that she normally went to at this time of day, but the climbing wall. She had tried it once and failed miserly. Not only had she had only got half way up, but the fear of falling had gotten to her, AND then there was the fact that the burning lava killed, not literally, her hands for less then a week. Thank you Harper for being able to heal her; something Sophie was not every good at. Not very good at, heck the only thing she was good at was archery! Not today, she was determined to make it pass the wall. Even if it took hours.
She made her way, as she put on a pair of leather, or something that looked like leather, gloves that she had gotten from the armory, that had dealt with fire and heat. She was about fifty yards away when a scream erupted from where she was heading. “Another small reason I don’t come here,” she muttered. She shook her head she had to do this. It would make her feel so much better if she could at least handle heights. She just wished that there was no lava involved. But considering this was her only option at the moment, she would have to deal. Thank you kids of Hephaestus!
After taking another twenty yards or so, she swallowed seeing it way up. “Sophia Marie Greene, you have got to be crazy.” she muttered again to herself making her way to the wall, but seeing one other. She was not sure who was the girl in front of her, about to tackle the wall too, other then the fact that the girl was obviously a demi-god, but maybe she was in her first year here at least. Then again maybe she had been there before Sophie and that’s why she did not really know the girl. “Hello there,” she replied waving slightly to the girl, as she approached her, trying to take her mind off of the thing she was about to do. If she could do a wall of practically fire, she could take on anything, or at least she thought.

Ellie knew that she needed to start legit training, especially with this new threat that everyone was talking about. She wouldn't be much good to the Camp if she refused to step out of her Cabin, or just hung around the water hoping that some stupid evil guy would come in with her. Ellie really needed to shape up...or risk dying. Step one: Find a weapon that she was comfortable with. Status: step failed. Move on to another step. Step two: start participating in the training aspect of Camp life. Ellie swallowed nervously as the climbing wall loomed ahead. It was an individual activity that didn't involve fighting other people. It was for your own personal skill. Good, because Ellie felt like she probably wouldn't be able to actually take on people for another month or year...
She was making her way from the Dining Pavilion. Excellent way to work off a small breakfast: a nice little climb on a wall of shooting lava that could potentially mean death. Of course, the daughter of Poseidon wasn't a fan of heights, but she had to get over it, just like very thing else in the Camp. Ellie outright froze on the spot as a scream met her ears. Did she really want to go through with this...? The thirteen year old demigod bit her lip and did her best to hold her head high. She had to try. Trying to not to make it look like she was trembling to every person she passed, Ellie marched up to the Wall. Her first thought once reaching it, was that it looked a lot bigger and scarier than she had initially thought. She saw two older girls at the base and swayed nervously, her eyes getting larger as she continued to stare at the intimidating, lava spewing wall. A redheaded girl dropped from a few feet up.
"H-hey you... you o-okay?" she called out weakly. She looked to the side of her, seeing yet another older Camper. She smiled slightly at the two of them out of respect. Was everyone here older than her? She looked between the two faces, of course she had glimpsed them around Camp, but had never talked to them. She rarely talked to anyone because of her shyness. Ellie looked up nervously, not wanting to get burned by lava or crushed by rocks. Then again, no gains without pains. "A-any t-tips f-for...f-for going u-up th-that...?" the thirteen year old asked the two of them, staring at the (what she was starting to consider) impossibly feat.
