ARIC MICHAEL SUMMERS
Name:: Aric Summers
Nickname:: Junior
Age:: 19
Gender:: Male
Species:: Demi-God
Olympian Parent:: Ares
Years at Camp:: Two
Claimed:: Yes, but he has not met him
Celebrity Claim: Cam Gigandet
Looks:: Aric is a fairly smooth skinned child of Ares. He doesn’t look much like a fighter, his eyes are light blue and his hair is a sandy blond. He likes to argue that he has light brown hair, but according to his doctor, it is blond. Aric has lightly tanned skin from his outdoor sports, but in the winter, his tan fades slightly. His soft features would trick you when he says he has been in many fights, but his body would prove him honest. His muscles are those of a trained professional sports player. His biceps are well sized and his legs are defined. He only stands at approximately five foot eleven, but he weighs in at about one hundred and eighty five pounds. He has to stay this weight in order to continue playing football at school. He has a tribal tattoo that runs along his side and another tattoo in Old English that spells out “Summers” across his shoulders.
Personality:: Aric hasn’t always been that outgoing guy at school. He has been that guy that makes a fool of himself, but no one really looks down on him for it. They know it is just how he is. Up until about High School, Aric was the more timid, shy type. Even while playing sports, he wasn’t really attracted to getting tons of attention, but he got the attention anyway. He hated being called on in class, because he knew he was being focused on, same with gym. Once he got into High School, this all changed.
When Aric got to the ninth grade, something inside of him snapped. He began having really weird outbursts of ADHD symptoms. He seemed to want more attention, which confused his friends and classmates. He wasn’t usually outgoing in football, but he began telling his coach that he wanted the ball more. It seemed like Aric wanted the adrenaline rush of clashing with someone else. When he got the ball, Aric seemed to run straight through people, instead of trying to go around them. He was definitely becoming the ‘Power Back’ that the coach was asking for. During pep rallies, Aric was the ‘Pep Leader’. Everyone was extremely surprised seeing Aric like this, but they loved it.
Although, Aric has been one to get angry with others, he can usually contain his frustration. There have been a few times when he literally blacked out for minutes at a time and snapped out of it with no recognition of what happened. He never injured anyone in that aspect, but he knew he needed help with the problem. In just a few short years, Aric learned to let his anger out on the football field, he could plow throw people, and he couldn’t get in trouble for it… Most of the time.
Family::
-Dawn Summers, Mother
-Ares, Father
-Roy Summers, Step Father
-Sean Summers, Step Brother
History:: Aric Summers was born on April 12th, 1992. He was an only child to his mother, Dawn Summers. During his childhood years, Aric was very timid. He hated meeting new people, he disliked playing with other kids, and he kept to himself at school. When he turned five, his mother began to see a man named John. John wasn’t what you would call, a nice guy. He didn’t seem to do a whole lot except for sit on the couch, eat, and smoke cigarettes. Aric hated that smell and that man, and still does to this day.
One day in the sixth grade, Aric came home from football practice to hear yelling in the house. When he walked in, a lamp that almost hit him, shattered on the wall. He looked over to see John with a raised hand to his mother, who was lying on the ground cowering from the man. Aric dropped his bag and ran at the man and hit him in the stomach as hard as he could, but the man barely flinched and smacked Aric across his cheek, sending him to the ground. Aric stood back up after regaining consciousness and picked up a shard from the broken lamp and stabbed it into John’s thigh. Needless to say, John didn’t stick around much longer, and Aric was happy for that.
A few years later, when Aric was in the eighth grade, his mother began dating a man named Roy. He seemed to be much nicer than John, and he actually pulled his own weight around the house. With Roy, came a young man named Sean. He was a few years older than Aric, and he kind of did his own thing. A few more years down the road, Dawn and Roy got married, and Roy officially took Aric in as a step son. Honestly, Aric was happy for his mother, and he was happy to finally have a father figure around the house. When Aric got to the tenth grade, he noticed quite a few people noticing him more. Maybe it was because he had been working out more, or gaining muscle as if he were on steroids… But honestly, he was doing nothing different. He felt like a flame had come alive in him.
During his senior year of high school, Aric came home to find his home a wreck. It looked like a tornado hit it. He heard a screeching in the back of his home and went to find Sean lying on the floor, unconscious. The window was shattered and his mom came running through the doorway, yelling to follow her. Aric did so and he tried so hard to follow what was going on. When they finally reached the camp, Aric was told by his mother who his father was. He didn’t believe her until he walked down the hill to meet more people like him. He hadn’t really noticed until now, but the anger that he built up, the satisfaction of hitting people during football… Ares really was his father.
Name/Nickname:: Ryan
Roleplaying Experience:: A few years
Sample RP:: The bell rang, it was finally over, and Aric was finished with school. He knew he would make it, but he didn’t think it was going to go so quickly. As he walked toward the book room to return his books for the last time, a teacher, Mr. Evans stopped him. ”Mr. Summers, I would like to congratulate you on your senior year…” Aric smiled lightly and nodded. He never really liked Mr. Evans. He must have been a hundred years old from the looks of his wrinkles. And his teeth were almost as yellow as cheese, with the breath to match.
Aric began to walk past Mr. Evans when the man swatted the books from Aric’s arms. He looked back and noticed that the geezer’s eyes were turning a reddish orange. The look on Aric’s face was not a scared look, but more of a ‘what the hell is that thing?’ look. The old man seemed to change right in front of Aric’s eyes. He began to back up, trying to look back for something, but trying to keep an eye on the creature that was transforming right in front of him. As soon as the creature finished forming, Aric reached back and found a broom stick that one of the janitors must have left out while cleaning. The creature slashed it’s claws at Aric, but he was able to block the attack. While taking the hit, the broomstick snapped and Aric threw away the sweeping end. He then held up the stick like a sword and waited for the creature to attack once more, and when it did, it felt a crack on the side of it’s head that would have killed any human.
The creature fell to the ground and almost evaporated from the ground into a golden dust. Aric dropped the broken broomstick and ran inside to tell anyone he found. As soon as he got inside, the bell sounded again. People were running out of class and throwing papers everywhere. He was confused, this had just happened not five minutes before. There was something obviously wrong. Aric looked around in a daze for a moment before realizing it must have been a dream. There was no other explanation.
