What is there to come...(Open)

As Nico walked out of his cabin wearing his normal all black attire he had one destination in mind. The lake. He had no idea why he really wanted to go there, but he did. So as he started walking towards that direction he started thinking. His minds went to after summer. Would he really want to go back to the Underworld and spend the time as his father’s ambassador, or would he just want to hang out here? Or even just go from place to place traveling the world and seeing things some people wished they could see. His hands ventured to his pockets where he stuck them as he walked.

His sword hit his leg every other step like a rhythm. His head dropped as he walked. He really didn’t know what to do. Since it was only a couple months away, he would have to decide soon. The sooner the better too, that way he could talk his dad into whatever he wanted to do. One side of his lip twisted up giving him a thinking face and his eyebrows burrowed in deep thought. His feet carried him absentmindedly but he knew they were headed towards the lake when he could start to hear the water.

His head tilted up to see the sun glinting off the waters. It was a pretty sight, but what would he know about pretty really. He had no choice to decide who his dad was. Now, he did like him, but the constant radiating of fear and death did take its tolls sometimes. Especially when it came to making new friends. Who would want to be the friend of someone whose father ran the place they would go to when they died. Not many that was for sure. Nico smirked with a slight laugh as he thought of this. He could probably count on one hand who his real friends were.

Annabeth. Percy. Thalia (even her he wasn’t sure). Grover. Tyson. Of course there were probably others, but those had helped him when he needed help the most. Those had stuck by his side no matter how much he had despised them in the beginning once his sister passed. He shook those thoughts from his head and once again focused on what he had been thinking about moments ago as he walked the last few steps to the lake. Standing a foot away from the lake, he squatted down next to it.

He looked at the water as it tried to touch his shoes. He sighed as he leaned back and let himself fall on his butt on the ground. His feet in the same position but knees up so he could cross his arms as he looked out into the lake. His sighed once again as his thoughts wandered.
