Sorry it took so long to get pics up for this, but I'm finally going to start posting pics from LAS VEGAS/Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam. I'll order them by location... may take a while. >.< Curse me and my laziness/busyness and the fact that there are a lot of pictures to choose from!

THE JOURNEY Lesson #1: Weather is unpredictable. (Pictured is Cincinnati airport...rain. When we landed...11-year drought) Lesson #2: Pringles containers packaged at or near sea level look really funny at high altitude. Observe. Lesson #3: Crop circles sometimes come in the form of PacMan (maybe Mr. D did this one...) (These are agricultural irrigation circles.) Lesson #4: In Las Vegas, they love to have you. But they love to have your money more. And it starts as soon as you step off the plane. (Yes, this is in the airport.)

THE STRIP (I know I have a pic of the famous sign around here somewhere... I'll get it up) Ah, the Strip. Bright colors, loud noises, flashing lights, oversized everything, heavy traffic... it was great! (except for that white Kia Soul in the front... as a Scion xB driver, I refuse to acknowledge that as a real car, lol (how dare they talk down Scion!!!!)) With palm trees! And fake grass! Ain't it purdy? So many foreign languages being spoken in that city! Even some of the signs were in Olympus-only-knows-what! (And yes, that is a McDonalds right on the strip... and a Walgreens (we ate dinner there more often than not, lol!)) And lots of curious people. One of Rachel's friends? And Hard Rock Cafe!!! Ate there twice! It was so yummy! And had Sex On The Beach there (the drink! the drink!). And that ABC Store below? AWESOME! You could buy cold drinks there (like alcoholic drinks) then just walk down the street drinking them and no one thought the worse of you for it cause they were doing it too! XD Three words: 2-Story Coke Store... that glowed. Okay, more than three words, but the glowing makes up for it. And to think, back home, hotels just have a cheap sign at the front... not a ginormous fountain with gold lettering and statues of barely-dressed Greek people
