Raeleigh Mae McCoy
broken mirror, a million shades of light

Name:: Raeleigh Mae McCoy Nickname:: Rae && McCoy Age:: Twent-two Gender:: Female
we can run to the end of the world
* * * * Species:: Demi-God Olympian Parent:: Hephaestus Years at Camp:: Eight Claimed:: Yes
the songs of the season are her only crown
* * * * Celebrity Claim:Olivia Wilde Looks::
Raeleigh has dark brown hair that some times looks black. It's about medium length falling just past her shoulders. She is not one to be bothered with styling it or looking good. Normally it falls pretty straight but flips up a little at her bangs and curls slightly around her shoulders. She has light, almost crystal like blue-green eyes. They are noticeably bright and framed by long lashes. Her skin tone is slightly olive and naturally so. Rae is very skinny and fit from all the work that she does in the forge. She is tall enough standing at just about 5'8". She has long legs and a curvaceous form.
Her clothing styles varies from day to day. It's conservative for the most part as she has to be a good influence for the campers. [or at least she is supposed to be] She wears jeans a lot because fighting or working in a forge in a skirt is no easy task. She also wears a lot of tank tops as she views jackets and long sleeve shirts to be constricting. Personality::
Rae is a generally nice person. She is very relaxed and laid back most of the time. She is very rational and doesn't over react to every little situation. Don't be mistaken in thinking that she's a perfect little hippie though. When her work gets the best of her or she loses to someone she doesn't like Rae can get pretty angry. She's been known to get caught up in the heat of battle and not to stop until there's blood.
She's quite a perfectionist and she refuses to stop working until she thinks everything is right, which normally takes some time. She has become far less judgmental of her own work over the years though and so she works a little faster. The most important things to Rae are trust an loyalty. Both of which she knew little of until she came to Camp Half-Blood. She hates being lied to and she considers it a very serious offense. As for loyalty she knows very little of it and desires it greatly.
All in all she's a social butterfly with a good work ethic and the desire to be loved. Though she wouldn't admit the last part to anyone. Family:: Haley McCoy [Mother] && Jacob McCoy [Brother] && Connor Windkeeper [Half-Brother] && Hector Serrano [Half-Brother]
History::
Raeleigh was born in Sun City, Arizona where she lived for about three years before her mother got paranoid and packed up. From Arizona she moved to Louisiana. She lived there for another few years before her mother moved them to Tennessee and then Massachusetts. It didn’t take long for Rae to realize that something was seriously wrong. No matter how many times she asked her mother always insisted that it was nothing. Then they would pack up and move again.
Things began to settle down when they moved to Japan. Her mother met a name by the name of Braeden who she quickly fell in love with. Braeden however was an untrustworthy man who got her mother in to a terrible mess. Not to mention he was abusive. Raeleigh knew she needed some way to protect herself and so she learned Ninjustsu. When she was fourteen she put the skill to use and solved her families ‘Braeden problem‘. His influence was already to great though as her mother was pregnant. After that tensions were unbearable between the family and so to keep her new family together she bought a plane ticket and sent Rae to New York City to live with her Uncle Sean. She was with him for about two weeks before things got bad and he gave up on her. With her mother's instructions Rae was dropped off at Camp Half-Blood and none of her family ever looked back.
For the first time in her life Rae actually felt like she belonged somewhere. She excelled at fighting and she found true happiness and iron work. Within the first few days of walking into camp she learned the true identity of her father, a man her mother never spoke of. Everything was going great - with the exception of her inability to make a decent chair - but as years passed she was stuck with a nagging feeling. Rae left camp in search of her mother when she was nineteen. She found her, happily settled with Braeden and her new son Jacob in Las Vegas. For awhile Rae convinced herself she could be apart of this family, her family. But her mother exiled her once again, telling her she was a mistake that she thought she was rid of Rae forever.
After that Rae spent two months in the Lotus Casino, letting her problems drift into obliviousness. Soon enough she came to her senses though and returned to her true home at Camp Half-Blood where she has been ever sense.

* * * * Name/Nickname:: Indi or Dakota Roleplaying Experience:: Six Years Sample RP::
Dakota was silent for a moment trying to think of people who took training seriously that weren't total jerks or dead. Her first thought was Luke but he was dead. Then she thought of Clarisse but she was a really a jerk. She then considered Percy and Thalia but they both had their moments. So instead she settled. "Sure," she replied with a shrug, "I suppose it could happen." The more she thought about it, the more she realized everyone was arrogant at some point or another. It could be that bad could it? After all, it was always better than being dead.
She nodded in understanding when he said Hermes. Just looking at him and the he was acting she could see the resemblance. "In that case you have nothing to worry about, you will pick up fighting in no time. No guarantees you will be great but you will probably live," she teased him. Death's at Camp Half Blood were far and few. It was rather mean to tease him with the idea.
Dakota couldn't help but to laugh at his reaction about dying. He was gullible and that was never a good thing to be at camp. People would walk all over you then. She didn't even bother to assure him just how funny his fear of dying was. He was a demi-god after all, he wasn't invincible but he had a lot more advantages than most people.
"Even if that is a good reason to fear her, it's kind of pointless. Don't get me wrong Artemis has a temper she isn't afraid to use but she's not exactly known for murder. As for the hunters, we place nice most of the time." Dakota had to admit he knew more about all of this then he thought. Not crossing a god was a sure fire way to keep breathing and knowing that god's allies are no joke either, that's down right brilliant. "I think you will fit in just fine here."
