Nick couldnt help but smile a little when Annabeth told him he did well with the empousa.." Thanks, you did great back there." He said before holding onto his side a bit under water before Percy shot them forward threw the water towards the island. Once they got there and Nick asked if Percy recognized the place from his dream, a part of him had been hoping that they had gotten it wrong.
Once he looked up at the sky at the approaching storm clouds he couldn't help but get lost in thought for a moment. Did his dad know where he was? Or that him and his friends where going into any danger? Or was it all just a flook? Though when Percy smacked him on the back it snapped him out of it." Yeah, lets hurry this up. I don't really want to have to take a row boat home." He said with a weak laugh, but truth be told he didn't think that this quest wouldn't be that easy. When Annabeth suggested to check out the keeper house first, Nick nodded." Sounds like our best bet." He said as he pulled thunder off his wrist and it grew into a sword." Lets go get Riley..." Sami was a nice girl, and a friend of his. Nick was prepared to do just about anything to reunite her with her brother.
As they headed threw the abandoned house, with Nick bringing up the rear he made sure to keep both his eyes and ears peeled. Just it wasnt to long before he agreed with Percy. It was definitely not evil villain lair material. Unless they where the spider king or something. He thought about voicing this, then decided against it as he saw the look on Annabeths face as they passed a few spider webs. The thunder seemed to be getting worse and worse outside." Yeah, I wonder what has him so pissed of..." He said to Percys comment. Though he didnt have to long to think about it because Percy had let go of Annabeths hand, Nick then stood beside her in his absence as the other son of the big three headed for the window. It was then that Nick noticed the two forms on the the other side of it.
Nick nodded and went towards the window, standing off to the other side of it (since he was to tall to crouch) when Percy singled them over. Just what he mouthed next made Nicks heart sink, this was it. He gripped thunder a little tighter in his hand as his eyes went from the figures to Percy and then Annabeth. This was her quest, even though his ADHD was fueling his urge to burst out there and star chopping and zapping he was waiting to see what Annabeth thought, Percy too.

Annabeth was a little surprised when Percy ran like something was on fire and immediately wrapped her in an iron bear hug. Well, that was… unexpected. But he was so nice and warm she immediately huddled up against him. And when he kissed her forehead, she managed to forgive him, at least mostly, for being such a jerk earlier. She pulled herself back to what was going on and suggested some sort of plan of action, happy to find that Nick and Percy both agreed. That was a little reassuring.
The house itself turned out to be a bit of a waste of time. Despite his joking, Annabeth clung to Percy’s hand for dear life most of the way, though she never said a word. It was a close call though when she didn’t see a spider hanging from its web at eye level until it was about two feet from her. A piercing scream would have sort of given them away, after all.
She looked to Nick and Percy as they both commented on the likelihood of this place being a ‘bad guy headquarters’. They had a point. Though she had seen worse serve as monster and bad guy layer before. She decided not to mention that though. She looked out one of the windows behind them as lightning flashed in the distance, providing an eerie light in the house. “Yeah, he really doesn’t seem too happy, does he?” But the topic changed fast when Percy saw something outside the window. Annabeth was a little thankful Nick stood next to her. As much as she would never, ever admit it, she was a little nervous about this. A god of fear? Yeah, sure, no big deal. And the plan Percy had mentioned overhearing. She followed Nick over, moving to stand behind Percy. And the morning had seemed bad enough, but when Percy mouthed the name she least wanted to hear, her heart sank. Well, this was it. She chanced a glance around him out the window to try to scope out the landcape and what exactly they were up against. After a moment of thought, she carefully walked away from the window, trying not to be seen. “Come on…” she said hardly above a whisper. Slowly, so as not to make the floor creak, and to avoid spiderwebs, she led the way back out of the building the way they’d come in and around the side of the building, which was thick with low-hanging trees and shrubs. She turned to the other two and said just loud enough that they could hear. “I noticed these trees when we came in… and judging from the area between Phobos and the house on the other side, this is our best bet.”

Phobos considered himself lucky that he had stumbled across Riley when he did. He had been searching for a son of Hermes to misguide and use. Now that he was so close to reaching his actual goal with Riley, Phobos wasn’t about to let Percy Jackson and his friends mess it up. He knew that they would be on their way here. But they would be too late to save the half-blood. Zeus may have known something was going to happen by the look of the storm clouds over head, but not even the God of the Skies and Thunder would stop him.
“Are you ready Riley?” Phobos asked as he snapped his fingers and lit the last candle. Stupid rituals had to be obeyed even by the Gods. Couldn’t he just open the door to the Underworld hand Hades Riley and get what he came for? Of course not, things were never that simple.
Riley swallowed. He was beginning to have his doubts about all of this. Maybe he should just head to camp and forget about this crazy God. But Riley saw no way of escaping now. Phobos could have been lying about Sami. She would never betray him, she was just scared. Riley sighed and glanced over to Phobos. He gave a stern nod. No turning back now. Riley couldn’t go back from this. He stood in the circle of candles.
“I’m ready.”
Phobos’ lips twisted into a smile. “Fantastic. Then you know what to do, and what to say.” Phobos handed Riley a crooked celestial bronze blade. The hilt was made from pure gold with small black jewel encrusted in it. The storm clouds parted above to reveal the sun hanging high in the sky. Riley looked up toward the sun and raised the blade with his right hand.
“Lord Hades! King of the Underworld, God of Riches! I offer you a sacrifice. Under the darkness of the eclipsed Sun where Olympus cannot see, I take this blade of wealth and offer onto you the soul of Riley Mitchell, for a soul connected by blood, a son of Hermes for a son of Hermes. I ask for Luke Castellan”
Phobos watched with hungry eyes as Riley made the offering to Hades. He prayed that Hades would bite. Letting go the soul of Luke would not be easy. Phobos’ eyes lit with excitement as the sun began to chip away over head. A solar eclipse. It was happening. Hades would bite! He looked back to Riley.
Riley couldn’t believe it was working. His palm was sweating and the knife was getting hard to hold onto. He brought the knife down and flipped it around in his hands. Riley raised it again this time the blade was facing toward him. He thought of Sami and fought the urge to cry. He had been the one who betrayed Sami in the end. Not only was this a son of Hermes for a son of Hermes, it would be one traitors soul for another. Riley looked up to the sun which was a quarter gone by now.
“Lord Hades! In your name I take my life in exchange for the soul of a traitor. Send back Luke Castellan!” Riley took a deep breath before plunging the dagger deep into his gut. He let out a groan and collapsed to his knees and then onto his side. He was still alive but the pain was more than he could stand. Riley lay there feeling his life drain from him. What had he done? I’m sorry sami.
Phobos felt like a kid at Christmas. Nothing happened at first but Phobos knew he would have to wait for the sun to be completely eclipsed before he would see the son of Hermes rise again. Everything was going perfectly. RILEY MITCHELL: H E R E Got his dad’s eyes, while Sami got their mothers.MUSIC: H E R ENOTES: I totally made this whole ritual thingy up. hope it works!

Percy chewed on his lower lip waiting for Annabeth to give them orders before he came up with a solution. He had played hero a fair few times even without meaning to. He had seen how much it angered Annabeth and the last thing Percy needed was Annabeth mad at him. As Annabeth mentioned the trees Percy gave a nod.
He took out riptide and uncapped it. A full blade sprung from where the tip of the ballpoint should have been. He gripped the sword tight and quietly left the house tipping around outside to the other side of the lighthouse.
He glanced down to Annabeth, “Nick and I may be able to distract Phobos. If you wear your hat you may be able to get Riley out of there.” It was a humble suggestion to her plan. Just a slight addition. Though he figured Annabeth would not be happy with the whole, Nick and me will take on the God while you get the boy and run.
Percy hesitated; he looked up and saw the storm clouds part around the sun. That was odd to say the least, but when the moon started to eclipse the sun he looked back at Nick and Annabeth sharing a, ‘Shit that isn’t good’ kind of look. He hurried forward now able to hear the voice of the demi-god Riley. He stopped, hidden behind a few bushes. Phobos stood away from a circle of lit candles and watched with an eager expression while Riley held a celestial bronze knife toward the sky. He wanted to rush forward and ambush Phobos to throw off the ceremony, but Percy couldn’t help but watch in curiosity.
As the name Luke Castellan registered with Percy his eyes grew to the size of walnuts. Phobos was going to bring Luke back, to what end Percy did not know. He automatically looked at Annabeth he was too shocked to say anything. For a split second worry churned in Percy’s gut, only because of that dream. He pushed it aside though and brought his head back to the current event. Percy gave Annabeth’s hand a squeeze and turned his eyes toward Nick. He jerked his head in Phobos’ direction and nodded. Letting go of Annabeth’s hand Percy gave her a kiss on the head. “Here we go.” he whispered.
As Percy glanced up he watched as the blade of the knife disappeared into Riley’s gut. He had hesitated too long. Immediately Percy felt angry with himself for not rushing out there when they first arrived. Without waiting for anyone’s say so Percy broke into a run. “Phobos!” Percy shouted. He raised his sword. Glancing up the sun was about half way eclipsed.

Nick nodded to Annabeth, that seemed like their best plan. He definitely didn't have one other then grab his sword and run at the god lightning blazing. He fallowed the other two out of the house and around the back. He still had thunder gripped tightly in his hand when Percy came forward with an idea. Yeah, charge the god. Like that didn't have 500 ways it could go wrong...Just he could see the determined look in Percy's eyes. So he looked at Annabeth with determination too, since he knew someone would have to watch the fish sticks back. Not to mention that Annabeth had the best chance of getting Riley... He had been about to say something to comfort Annabeth that they would be fine when he saw the clouds part, well he actually felt them part. He ignored the weirdness of that though and chalked it up to being a son of the sky god thing.
Though as he saw the eclipse he gulped." I think I'd rather have the storm clouds over that...." He said so only the other two could hear him. To him an eclipse said, dark and evil stuff. He fallowed behind Percy, giving Annabeth a 'I hope you have a better idea' look' just even if she did. He also had to help her watch Percy's back, more then he even knew. as he reached the trees, he now able to hear the end of what Riley was saying. Soul exchange? No! Dammit Riley...Luke Castellan? He was Annabeth's old friend that had died a couple years back in the battle after he had made up for his sins. Though as he caught the look on both the others faces, he couldn't help but wonder if their was more of a story behind Luke Castellan. He was sick of waiting, he was totally oblivious to Percy kissing Annabeth on her forehead. All he could focus on was Riley, he was just about to rush forward, orders or not when Riley stabbed himself.
It was then that the clouds grew even darker, and the sky was covered completely except where the eclipse was over head. It then began to rain, enough to soak them to the bone but still let them see. However it wasn't Zeus doing this, the Russian was pissed off and when he was pissed things tended to get fried. He ran after Percy threw the rain, standing right beside him as he called for the god of fears attention. He made sure to not look above his nose, though it was easy to see that he looked surprised." Wow....I thought the god of fear would of seen us coming." He said with a taunting smirk, his anger not doing well for his better judgment. But they had time right? They just had to get Riley help...He could still go back to his sister! However as the moon continued to shadow more and more of the sun, Nicks hope dissipated, and his anger grew." I always pictured you taller..." He said as thunder clapped and he pointed an arm at Phobos, lightning going right at him. Meanwhile, the moon completely covered the sun. The only source of light being the lighthouse which had turned on while it started raining and the lightning coming from the sky, and Nick

Luke had been making cupcakes back at camp with Nike, weird yeah but she had seemed to be an actual decent goddess. Something he never said lightly. However that was when he got a horrible pulling feeling in his gut, which wasn't exactly normal. He was dead, he didn't feel physical pain!" I'm sorry....I.." He tried to explain to the goddess as he gripped his stomach, but it was then he disappeared completely and appeared at the base of an old light house. In the rain, with an eclipse above them and as the moon covered more of the sun the pain in his gut got worse. He took in his surroundings, some big guy was standing in front of a smaller kid and next to him was Percy...He tried to look around for Annabeth but he couldn't see her. Had something happened to her? He wasn't sure but he prayed to the gods that she was alright.
He hadn't even noticed that the guy Nick and Percy where confronting was a god, but soon his eyes fell on a kid who was laying on the ground and bleeding. He ran to see if he was alright, but then the pain got to much and he fell to his knees in the mud before laying on his back and blacking out. Which if he wasn't in pain and knocked out he would of also found weird, ghosts don't do that! Just he wasn't out of it long, the moment the moon completely covered the sun, Luke's eyes shot open and he took a huge breath...
Luke sat up, his pain was gone but he was breathing..he placed a hand to his chest and felt a beating heart." What the Hades..." He mumbled to himself as he looked down and saw that he was wearing the exact same thing he had been when he died, but he was solid. He couldn't see threw himself, he could actually feel the blood running threw his veins." I'm....alive." He said in awe, but then reality quickly hit him and he remembered where he was, the others around him could very well be in danger. The first thing he did was turn to the kid he had actually landed beside." Hey! kid...wake up.." But he was cold, and un moving. He looked at his face and he couldn't help but feel that he looked familiar. He regretfully got to his feet, which he had to do slowly since he wasn't used to using them. He knew the kid was dead, and by the look of things he had a horrible feeling why, but he didn't want to admit it yet but he had to be sure." What in the name of Hades is going on?!" He shouted to the other three men who where probably fighting each other, but dammit he needed answers and he needed them now. He didnt even really have time to be happy that he was alive, because right now he didnt know why. He doubted he wanted to really know anyways...

To say that Annabeth was not pleased with the idea of Percy and Nick rushing out to distract a crazy fear god was a bit of an understatement. She wanted to say something, to stop them, but Percy had a point. As much as she hated to admit it, he did make up not-so-bad plans every once in a while. She looked between Percy and Nick. “Just be care-” She stopped when the sun suddenly came out, but something was different. She looked up. An eclipse was starting. “-ful… oh no.” She hurriedly looked away, back to what was going on, speaking in an undertone to the other two. “Whatever you do, don’t look directly at the sun. Eclipses can blind you and that’s the last thing we need right about now…”She fell silent, though, when the boy in the circle who must have been Riley, spoke once more. And said the name Luke Castellan. And to make matters even more complicated, he then proceeded to stab himself. Annabeth clapped her hand over her mouth, eyes wide. No. They couldn’t have failed… She was snapped out of it, though, when Percy and Nick ran out like complete idiots. Well, this must be it then. She pulled her hat out of her back pocket and onto her head. If she could get to Riley, maybe there was still hope. Pulling out her dagger, she ran out as quietly as she could, though with everything, what were the chances Phobos would notice something he couldn’t even see? One problem: when she got close enough to Riley, it was already obvious the boy was dead. And to complicate things, there was Luke… completely alive. She paused, taking a step back. She wasn’t sure what to think yet of seeing Luke like this, given the situation. But she knew what to think of Riley’s current state: she had failed him. Her quest had been to find him and, supposedly, bring him back to camp. Not watch him die horribly. She looked away, pained, then gripped her dagger all the tighter. Gritting her teeth, she moved as swiftly and silently behind Phobos as she could. The sight of the young dead boy still all too fresh in her mind - and besides, she had to help Percy and Nick too - she raised her dagger and brought it down, point aimed directly at the soft spot between Phobos’ shoulder blades. Phobos turned his head at the sound of his name being shouted. He was expecting Percy to show up at some point. Go figure he would show up at this moment. He exhaled and a twisted smile curled on his face. “Perseus Jackson. Famed hero and annoyingly meddlesome. I have been waiting for you.” Glancing up Phobos saw another running his way. He hadn’t expected, though should have, another one to be accompanying him. It was just another demi-god he could get rid of.
“I saw Percy, but not his overly sized friend.” Phobos said examining the other. The pleasantly cruel smile on his face morphed into a scowl when the tank made fun of his height. Phobos sucked in a breath. “Watch who you insult boy.” He growled his voice much deeper than before.
As a roar of thunder sounded and flashing lightning headed directly for him Phobos realized who this must be. He vanished in a poof of yellow smoke just seconds before the bolt hit him. He reappeared behind the two of them. The rain did not cause him to flinch or be bothered. A shower actually felt nice. “You’ll have to do better than that son of Zeus. And don’t think because your daddy is the big guy that I’m not going to lay a finger on you. Honestly it just makes me want to kill you all the more.” He chuckled.
Phobos distanced himself from the son of Zeus and Percy. He glanced over to Percy his eyes glowing red behind his shades. “I already know what you fear Percy Jackson, and let me tell you,” Phobos paused before continuing in a sing-song voice, “It’s going to come true.”
Riley’s vision was blurring and his hearing cut in and out. He felt a tear roll down his cheek and as if the heavens were weeping for the loss of a Son of Hermes rain poured from the sky and pounded on his wounded body. The cold water felt nice and refreshing. He could remember a time when he and Sami were younger and how they used to play outside whenever a rain shower would pass by. An image of Sami’s smiling childish face appeared in his mind, her hair clung to her face soaked. Riley wished he could have seen her one last time. Another traitorous son of Hermes was dying. Cursed.
As Riley’s hearing faded he heard a few new voices but his mind did not process them. If it was help they were too late. “Sami…” Riley feebly muttered before taking one last ragged breath. His blue eyes stared out into space and the son of Hermes was no more.
Phobos tilted his head back as saw the moon full eclipse the sun. “Finally.” Turning his head he saw Luke, son of Hermes and soon to be his demi-god champion in the war against Olympus and Camp Half-Blood. “Luke Castellan. An honor. You’re alive as you can clearly see. I have brought you back from the Underworld and back to that of the living. Well, with help from Riley there. Details. I have brought you back because I would like you to serve with me and help me to bring Olympus crumbli—“
A sharp pain between his shoulders so rudely interrupted Phobos, he let out a cry of agony that very nearly shook the ground. He reached back and pulled a blade from his shoulders. He also collided with some invisible force. He wrapped his hand tightly around what felt like a wrist and pulled the invisible being around in front of him. Phobos’ eyes scanned the blank area. Of course she would be with Percy. He reached up and pulled the hat off of Annabeth’s head and tossed it aside. She reappeared that very next moment. Phobos chuckled. “Daughter of Athena I have watched and seen you in battle before, even when you don’t think I am there fear is always present. I know your tricks. I should have known Percy’s Achilles’ Heel would be by his side.” He gripped tightly onto Annabeth’s wrist. The blade dripped with gold ichor. Phobos sneered at the dagger.
“I bet I can guess what your greatest fear is.” He said with a cool even tone. Phobos reached up with his free hand and removed his sunglasses. His eyes burned with tiny flames and bore into Annabeth’s. They changed to a ruby red, “Let’s see if I’m right.” RILEY MITCHELL: H E R E Got his dad’s eyes, while Sami got their mothers.MUSIC: H E R ENOTES:By the Gods Phobos is creepy.

Percy knew that Phobos was probably the worst fighter he had ever met, and the dude was a God. He was fully ready to kick Phobos’ immortal hinny back to Olympus. Feeling pretty confident he hesitated as Nick sent a bolt of lightning at the God. Percy may have been invincible but it still didn’t mean he was willing to get struck by lightning. Besides, Zeus was never his number one fan, who knows, maybe Zeus could bend the invincibility rules just for him.
The God did what he did best, go poof. The God of fear was a runner, and a crappy fighter. Unfortunately Phobos reappeared behind them. Percy spun on the balls of his feet and just as he was ready to slice into the annoying God, someone unexpected appeared. Okay so he was kind of expected but it didn’t mean Percy wasn’t surprised as hell to see the former counselor of Hermes cabin standing, very much alive only a few feet away.
Riptide lowered to the ground as Percy stared in awe at Luke Castellan. He couldn’t describe how he felt at the moment Luke came back from the dead in non-zombie form. Confusion and shock were probably the closest. He couldn’t respond to Luke at his question and could hardly comprehend what Phobos was rambling on about.
Instantly Percy’s head whipped around in search of Annabeth but she was nowhere to be seen. Before he could wonder where she had gone off to he heard Phobos cry out. His brow furrowed confused at first as to why Phobos was freaking out. It didn’t take more than a few seconds for Percy to realize that it was Annabeth. He froze in fear as Phobos unmasked her so to speak. His breath caught in his chest. He glanced over to Riley dead on the ground, to Luke, to Nick and back to Phobos and Annabeth. As Phobos lifted his shades Percy gripped the hilt of Riptide and charged forward.
“Annabeth!” If there was one thing Percy did not like it was fear Gods touching or being within a planets distance of his girlfriend. Oddly feeling no fear around Phobos, Percy reached out and grabbed for Phobos’ arm to pull him away and off of Annabeth. “Hands of freak show!”

Nick held back a growl when Phobos just dodged is lightning blast. Coward He thought to himself before he heard the god behind them, he whirled around and glared." I plan too, and just so you know. I'm not that easy to get rid of and its not like I expect any special treatment from my father, so don't be surprised if he doesn't come looking for revenge in the event of my demise.." He said, not really sounding like it was a big deal. Because if there was one thing he didn't plan to do today, it was die. He was about to continue when everything went dark, meaning the eclipse was complete....No, Riley He knew it was to late now, especially because when he looked up he saw a blond kid standing there. Looking confused and maybe even angry. He was about to answer Lukes question when Phobos started to drawl on. Halfway threw Nick spoke up." Can we skip the monologue? The Evil Bastard got your brother to sell his soul for you." He said the last part to Luke, pretty much summing it all up.
Though when Phobos yelled out in pain, his attention quickly went back to the god. Annabeth, dammit no! She was one of the closest things he had to family for the last two years. He didn't even remember deciding to do it, but he saw Phobos' backed turned to him, paying attention to Annabeth and now Percy. He couldn't just stand there and do nothing! Next thing he knew he was running up behind Phobos and swiftly grabbing at his next hard with his arm, pulling him back to where he hoped the god of fear would meet the point of his sword. " No one messes with my friends.." He growled out, knowing that even if he did succeed in stabbing him, it probably wouldn't end well for Nick. Only bright side he found was that he may slow the god down, and distract him from Annabeth and Percy.
Notes: Deathly short >.< Please forgive me!

No one liked loquacious, annoying self-centered gods. Luckily this one had something in common with a lot of other people: a dagger in the back ended his monologue pretty fast. What Annabeth hadn’t expected was to have her wrist grabbed and to be pulled around in front of the god like he could see her perfectly. Though the fact that he still looked at his handful of what would seem like nothing a little confusedly did reassure her that her hat was still working just fine. But then she had to second guess herself as Phobos reached right out and pulled her Yankees hat off. Well, crap. Or rather, a few other words slightly more unpleasant in Greek. As if Phobos wasn’t creepy enough just on his own, the fact that he had been watching her without her knowing it was downright disturbing. And then he mentioned her greatest fear. She wasn’t one hundred percent sure what it would be, but she seriously did not want to find out. And yet she felt almost paralyzed. She saw him start to lift his sunglasses, which didn’t seem like a good sign, and she heard Percy shout her name, and she knew she had to do something fast. But she was a hair too late. Phobos’ glowing red eyes locked onto hers and the world around her vanished. She was back at Camp Half-Blood. But something wasn’t right. Okay, something was seriously, extremely, incredibly wrong. The place looked like a bomb had gone off. Not a single building was undamaged. Cabin 6, her own cabin, was a pile of rubble. The Big House was burning. Everything was in pieces. Smoke billowed from the woods. Thalia’s pine was splintered and broken clear in half. Her home was in ruins. But that wasn’t even the worst of it.Annabeth was shaking, trying to pull away from the images in her mind, but Phobos’ grip on her wrist kept her in place. Tears were streaming down her face. “No! NO! Stop!” Her dagger slipped from her grasp, forgotten, and fell to the ground with a soft thud. The ground everywhere in Camp was scattered with the eeriest sight she’d ever seen: you could hardly see the grass for all the bodies. And not just any bodies. She saw her family: her father, her step-mother, her two step-brothers… dead. Her friends, past and present: Thalia, Grover, Chiron, Silena, Beckendorf, Clarisse, Katie, the list went on, demigod, mythical creature and mortal alike… all dead. And there, not far from her, was Luke, just as he had been in the throne room in Manhattan. But then she heard her name. It was the only sound save the crackling of small fires here and there around the Camp. She turned and felt herself choke up. There was Percy. He wasn’t dead, not yet. But he wasn’t far from it. Blood soaked the back of his shirt and the grass around him where he lay reaching his hand out to her. “Annabeth… help…” His voice was so weak it was painful to hear. She wanted to get to him, to keep him from meeting the same fate as everyone else here, but she couldn’t move.Annabeth didn’t notice anything going on around her. She didn’t notice Percy pulling on Phobos, nor Nick launching an attack of his own, or the fact that, in all the confusion, her wrist had slipped free… Still trying to get away from the images in her head, she back stepped, able to actually get somewhere this time. However, it didn’t do her much good. Still caught in the illusion, she didn’t even notice her foot catch on a small stone that jutted out of the uneven surface. She didn’t notice herself falling backwards, nor her head hitting a decent size rock. Her vision blacked out and she lay motionless in the grass. Word Count: 679 Song: I couldn't find it on youtube, so the best I can tell you is come here and go to the 5th one down with the picture that says "Play song from iLike.com". Or if you have it, it's "Intro" from Within Temptation's album, The Silent Force. Sorry for the confusion. Note: Luke and I are trading places in the posting order.

This couldn't be happening, there was no way this was happening. Not again.. Another evil god wanted to use him as a puppet, he would rather die then do that again! However, Phobos didn't know that...Threw most of the gods monologue he was planning a way to use this to advantage. He considered looking at Percy, his once friend and also once enemy. If they all lived threw this, what would they be then? Though he didn't dwell on it long as he looked at the other demi god. He saw surprise easily seen on his face from his presence, he seemed to understand around as much as he did. However it was when the big guy with Percy spoke up that broke him out of his planning and what he along with Phobos said sunk in. His brother?...Riley? He then remembered the daughter of Hermes that he saved back at camp calling him Riley. He turned down at the lifeless body of the boy beside him and he felt rage build up in his chest. Even more blood on his hands, and it had been his brother for the love of the gods!
He was trying to recompose his face before he looked at the other men, but before he could he heard Phobos cry out. Had one of the other two done something? But no...When he looked up he saw the god of fear pulling something off an invisible being in his clutches. Annabeth no!! He yelled in his head. Annabeth wasn't only Percy's Achilles heel. She was also Luke's, and had been for a very long time. He wanted to yell at her to close her eyes, to run. To yell at Percy to get that idiots gross hands off her, but he stayed silent. Phobos didn't know where his allegiance lied, and for now he HAD to use that to his advantage to help the others." In genius plan my lord....." He said in a growl, though the words made him feel like someone had stabbed him in the gut instead of Riley. He knew he couldn't help Annabeth, He wouldn't get there in time...but it wasn't hopeless to help her as long as Percy and Nick weren't stupid. His face was cold and cruel, but as he met eyes with Percy, the son of Poseidon was able to see the same look her had two years ago on Olympus before Luke was claimed by Hades...regret. Just then as he saw the pain on Annabeths face he growled, he was going to kill Phobos with his bare hands, or die trying (Again). However that was then Percys large friend got there first, he took this chance to get into the action, he had to make sure Annabeth was taken care of first though before he tore the god in two.
He ran to where Phobos had stood with Annabeth, noticing her dagger on the ground he quickly picked it up and teleported out of sight. When he reappeared he was behind Percy, he quickly grabbed him and held the dagger to the younger boys throat. He spoke in a hush whisper." You need to make sure she is alright, see if she will come too... He said desperately, before speaking loud enough for Phobos and Nick to probably hear." What's the matter Jackson?? You scared?!" He taunted before speaking low again." Trust me, Percy Please..." For a moment his eyes fell on the dagger that he was holding, it was the same one he had held two years ago. The one he had given Annabeth all those years ago.....She had been carrying it again. His eyes fell on her form and he clenched his jaw you better not leave me Chase! He thought to her, though he knew she couldn't hear him. He didn't have time to think on that any longer." I dont want anyone else to die today, but I need to let the short oaf think I'm all for the ruling Olympus thing so I can get the jump on him." He said as he looked over a Phobos" Ill go help the sparky giant...Make sure she is okay" He said before falling back with a grunt, acting like Percy had elbowed him in the gut. He then quickly got to his feet to see how Nick was doing, while silently praying that Annabetg was okay. He couldn't lose her again...but for now he was going to take it out on the bastard who hurt her.

Percy was forced to let go of Phobos and drop his sword as Luke came form behind and held a dagger to his neck. Not just any dagger though it was Annabeth’s and the one Luke used to end his life two years ago. He struggled against Luke’s grip anger boiling inside the pit of his stomach. How could Luke do this after what happened last time? Percy thought that Luke had learned his lesson by now and thought that he had changed right before death. He wasn’t sure if he was more disappointed because Luke once saved the world or because he was going to let Annabeth down again. Percy didn’t want to have to see the hurt in Annabeth’s eyes after another betrayal by Luke. He wasn’t sure if he could stomach it.
“Luke! You son of a—“ He words were cut off by son of Hermes whispering. Percy listened and his brow scrunched together. He held onto Luke’s arm trying to pull it away from his neck. What was that about making sure she was alright? Luke knew well that Percy was invincible and knew he couldn’t be hurt by a blade. Was the guys brain that fried he had forgotten? Percy swallowed just wishing he could tear Luke a new one. He had to get to Annabeth, she was suffering and Percy had to get there and tear Phobos from her. His eyes tore from Annabeth as Luke asked for his trust.
Percy stopped struggling and gave a small nod. He listened to Luke’s plan and for a moment Percy felt guilty for thinking Luke had sided with Phobos, another insane God. He needed to give Luke more credit than that. Old habits die hard. When Luke staggered back with all his theater skills, Percy charged forward grabbing Riptide.
“Annabeth!” He shouted keeping a distance from Phobos. “Annabeth its Percy! I’m here, whatever you’re seeing wherever you are it isn’t real. It’s just inside you head!” Then he saw Annabeth slip and fall, hitting her head on a rock on the ground. Percy felt his heart skip a few beats. “No!” He rushed over to her forgetting about the God of fear. He knelt beside her and lifted her onto his lap. He swallowed feeling himself shake. Please don’t be dead. Is all that ran through Percy’s head. Don’t be dead. “Annabeth?” He leaned over and listened, her heart was still beating. Thank the Gods for that.
He looked up and saw Nick tussling with Phobos. Percy wanted to get up and tear the eyes directly from Phobos’ sockets but he didn’t want to leave Annabeth’s side. He wasn’t going to let her go. As Luke said, the two of them could handle Phobos. Though it seemed wiser to let the invincible kid have a go at the immortal God. Sitting there staring down at Annabeth and running a hand gently down her cheek, Percy realized something. He wasn’t totally invincible. If anything were to happen to Annabeth Percy didn’t want to live, he wouldn’t be able to. “Annabeth. Come on wake up.” He muttered. ((switching up the post order for percy and phobos for right now. it'll work better with the next posts lol))

Phobos kept his eyes glued to Annabeth. He had heard Luke and couldn’t be more pleased with how things were playing out. Phobos’ lips curled into a great cruel smile as he watched Annabeth’s worst fear. He had seen a similar scene before a few years ago when he had taken a peek at Percy’s fear. Interesting they should have the same fear. He chuckled darkly at seeing Percy near death. Annabeth’s worst fear was Phobos’ deepest joy and dream. He couldn’t wait to make the daughter of Athena live through this all. It would be a pleasure. He felt a hand grip his arm and with out looking Phobos knew it was Jackson before he could do a thing though his new little servant Luke took care of the matter.
Then the brute son of Zeus charged him. How amusing. Annabeth pulled back and Phobos turned away to focus on Nick. He let go and allowed the daughter of Athena fall to the ground. It was one less demi-god to keep tabs on. Phobos smiled broadly at Nick as he charged. “Adorable. The Incredible Hulk is angry.”
He grabbed the blade in his hand and shoved it away. Phobos didn’t run or vanish this time. If any demi-god had the nerve to run at him he wasn’t going to deny the challenge—what little challenge it would be. With his focus on Nick he paid no mind to Percy cradling Annabeth in the background. He would be occupied while his brunette beauty lay unconscious. Phobos’ lips twitched realizing he didn’t need to fight these petty battles anymore. It was the reason he had his champion Luke. Still, administering some pain would be fun. Phobos grabbed Nick by the shirt collar and lifted.
“Rule one. Never make fun of God's height. It’ll always come around to bite you in the ass. Punk.” Phobos growled. He then threw Nick into the air and away from him. Phobos blinked a few times and a content smile spread across his face, cheek to cheek. “Can you feel it? I’m getting close to my ultimate goal. The world will know fear, and its name is Phobos.”
As fast as the smile appeared it vanished. Now there was a deadly look in his eyes, and without his shades it would be foolish to look directly at him. He set his jaw strode over to Nick. Swallowing he leaned over and spoke in a soft whisper. “No point is fighting fear. Just give up, serve me. It’ll just be easier. It’ll be safer for everyone. Your family and friends for instance, I’ll spare them, maybe.” The corner of his mouth trembled as he fought a grin, after a pause he continued. “Don’t you get it son of Zeus? I am INSTOPABLE!” He bellowed at the top of his lungs in rage. Phobos stood up straight and with a satisfied sigh Phobos looked over to Luke. “Luke! Destroy the son of Zeus.” His head turned down to Nick and Phobos cast a sadistic smile his way. “Slowly.” The word even rolled off his tongue and vibrated over his lips in the same manner. Nick had barely anytime to register what was going on around him, because he now had a very pissed god on his ass. When Phobos grabbed his wrist, he couldn't help but drop his sword. This was not good, he backed up a few paces. He made sure that he looked anywhere on the creepy god but his eyes, because he didn't want to end up like Annabeth. Percy needed his help to get her out of there! His eyes darted to the other two, seeing Annabeth on the ground before looking back at Phobos." Hulk? Well...Hulk Smash.." He growled, both of his hands shoot off sparks. However before he could move, he felt himself being lifted off the ground. He was about to make a sarcastic comment when Phobos threw him into the air, before Nick knew what was happening he had hit the side of the light house with a soft bone breaking crack before falling to a heap into the mud.
His breathing had started to resemble a bit more of a weeze, he held onto his side and it felt like a couple of his ribs had snapped. He got into a sitting position, a small cut on his forehead. He was slowly getting to his feet by leaning on the lighthouse wall as the god came over to him, he made sure to not look the bastard in the eye." Join you? Over my dead body you sadistic bastard.." He growled softly, he knew that even if he did join Phobos to keep those close to him safe. He probably wouldn't keep his word, and his loved ones would never forgive him." We will find a way to stop you, they said Kronos was unstoppable...lo-ok where he is." However when Phobos turned, Nick looked to where his line of sight was and he saw Luke running towards them. At what he said to Luke, he felt his blood run cold. He was screwed wasnt he? However he was now standing at his full height. He saw some emotion flash across the other boys face for a moment before it turned into a smile to match Phobos'. However before Luke could speak, Nick did." What? Having your croanie do your dirty work? Don't want to get your hands dirty? Wait....I know what it is. You are scared of my father and that's why you want my blood on his hands instead of yours." He said with a smirk, even though all he could feel right now was pain and if he moved wrong. A couple broken ribs could quickly lead to a puncturd lung. Just even though he was scared shitless and in pain, he wasn't about to show either fact on his face. He then looked at Luke." Come any closer, Ill send you back to the underworld.."
